I seem to remember they did, buuuuut....

I'm sure a whole bunch were made in 83. but how many have survived? especially 2 drs! I wonder how early is Chrysler's oldest XJ? do they have the first ever? I know they have the first ever minivan, but that was chysler's own baby. AMC would have had to hang on to the first XJ. oh how I wish I was allowed to snap pics in that warehouse where I found the Thunder Chief. my memory just isn't up to the task of hanging on to all I saw.

I'm way too far away to be useful

installed a 22,000 lumen industrial LED lighting fixture above my mom's washer/dryer. the previous florescent fixture (12k lumens?) was trying desperately to burn the house down so it had to go. and yes, I installed a dimmer switch for it.

there are no stupid questions. a manual trans is actually a very complicated thing. I mean, the auto trans is powered by simple witchcraft, but a manual has to use regular ol' physics to get the job done.

admittedly most of those stories I hear stem from the owners being idiots.

had a similar issue with my trailer and it turned out that the bed itself was tweaked a little. tried multiple 'gates and they all did the same thing. essentially I just yanked hard on the corner of the bed to square it up, and now the gate closes cleanly.

just keep in mind those production numbers are for the calendar year, not the model year. other than that it's a good vid. kudos to the creator.

quality is key, both in product and the application. I paid to have my rockers Rhino lined many moons ago and they turned out crappy. but once done, there was nothing I could do about it. they had drips and the guy plugged all my rocker's drains. but I've seen some well-done examples these days too. Monster and Raptor are light years ahead of Rhino. you have to want it though, as there is no going back.
