  1. All done... sorry I hadn't posted my reply until now. I have been nursing my wounds since returning from #wnc #hurricane #helene #volunteering. But the truck is now running well, I still get a little bucking every now and again... but I have only driven it (maybe 50 miles after installing), time will tell if this replacement resolved that issue!
  2. Once I pulled my fuel tank, I found two rubber grommets that serve as (I guess vent hoses), well after 37 years, those same rubber grommets are fully deteriorated, and since that is the case, where can I get new rubber grommets for my 87 Comanche Laredo, 4.0 liter 4x4? Please advise!
  3. Yeah, I am not sure that I am going to even buy it, as I truly do not need any more projects... my 'much younger' friend keeps thinking that I am a spring peep... lol! Sounds like a real PITA and I still have issues with my 87 Comanche Laredo and I have owned it for 5+ years... so I am afraid of compounding my troubles... lmao!
  4. Cool, but with the 3.4Liter will I also need the harness as well as the matching ECM?
  5. Hello... I have several questions about this vehicle. If I kept it pure... what would it be worth? (greater Pittsburgh, PA) And if I choose to install a 99 4.0 liter motor would the t-case, the tranny need swapped also? The paint was done by an amateur. So, yes it is shiny, but the paint is not high quality. Please advise. This is the vehicle in question.
  6. I will get it next week... we (Pittsburgh) are going to have a cool weekend this weekend!
  7. Warm to the touch, and after 5 seconds almost to warm to keep your hand on it? Does that sound normal? Diff, Chrysler 8.25 with 4.56 gears, running on 35 inch tires.
  8. I have always wanted an RTT, and I ended up buying this one 2nd hand!
  9. Well thank you!!!
  10. Its going to be epic. RTT: Tepui XL. Truck: 1987 Jeep MJ Laredo, 4x4
  11. Heat soak, I just drove it 110 miles. It seems fine as long as I monitor the temp guage and when it climbs, I turn on the two auxiliary fans rad fans on. I installed the three fan aluminum shroud that has two electric fans for on demand purposes.
