Alright, here’s the game. You are going to a junkyard. No specific part you’re after, a junkyard you’ve never been to before. You can only bring one single tool to the junkyard. What do you bring? What is the “most useful” tool in your opinion.

Depends..  Jeep related, a 10mm wrench.  

 

In reality, probably a crescent wrench.

 

Otherwise, a recipe saw.  Reason being is I can cut everything around the part I need and haul it home to use the correct tool.  Or is that cheating?

I was thinking a pocketable tool or something, but I’ll let it slide.

Otherwise If you look around its amazing how many tools you can find at the yard.

Vice grips... Duh. 

 

Screw driver would be dumb because every yard I have ever been to I have managed to find a screw driver =P

Used to think Channellocks were the cat’s @$$ until I discovered them. There’s still a handful of cases where the Channellocks are ahead, but for turning bolt heads you’ll have a tough time finding a set of pliers better than the Knipex.
