Pete M Posted December 9, 2017 Posted December 9, 2017 we only got a dusting here which is fine I guess since I'm more or less trapped in the house while my grandmother is early in her knee rehab. But if we got a few inches I would have found an excuse to make a run to the store.
Jeep Driver Posted December 9, 2017 Posted December 9, 2017 All white when I woke up, mostly gone now. Winter sucks.
johnj92131 Posted December 9, 2017 Posted December 9, 2017 77 here in Southern California. Much of the wind has died down, so the fire fighters can make progress.
Pete M Posted December 10, 2017 Author Posted December 10, 2017 Jeremy, I think you might win the "snow, but not really" award.
90BlackMJ Posted December 10, 2017 Posted December 10, 2017 All I got were a few flurrys. I hope we get some accumulation this year.
Dzimm Posted December 10, 2017 Posted December 10, 2017 Very few flurries here in central Iowa as well. I am torn, I want snow to play in but at the same time, it's nice not having to deal with it. I hope it snows a decent amount late on Christmas eve into Christmas, then melts and be back to 70* by Jan 1st. I'll keep dreaming...
Minuit Posted December 10, 2017 Posted December 10, 2017 Snow is cool and all, but I'd rather not have to drive home 120 miles at 30mph in it like I did about this time 2 years ago. I remember saying to myself last year that I'd have an NP242 in the '91 before winter
90BlackMJ Posted December 10, 2017 Posted December 10, 2017 Lol 120 miles at 30 mph would not be good
carnuck Posted December 10, 2017 Posted December 10, 2017 Only frost so far. Hopefully not for another month yet. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
mnkyboy Posted December 10, 2017 Posted December 10, 2017 There's been snow just a few miles up the road from me for a couple months, I'm just far enough down the mountain that i don't have any at the house yet.
DirtyComanche Posted December 10, 2017 Posted December 10, 2017 I've had snow at home for a long time. No pics, just believe me.
cbreiter Posted December 10, 2017 Posted December 10, 2017 Had snow here for at least a month now!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
cody4359 Posted December 11, 2017 Posted December 11, 2017 went out for a little Sunday cruise and some target practiceSent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
strictlyxjs Posted December 11, 2017 Posted December 11, 2017 xj did good in the storm here. mj stayed in the driveway with a THICK coat of fluid film on it....away from the salt.
87Warrior Posted December 11, 2017 Posted December 11, 2017 Snow? It was 55 and sunny this weekend. Not bad for December in Kansas
gogmorgo Posted December 12, 2017 Posted December 12, 2017 We've been getting snow since September. It's a bit depressing that it keeps melting in the bottom of the valley. Seems like it's finally starting to hand around though. Barely creeping above freezing during the day, finally.
carnuck Posted December 12, 2017 Posted December 12, 2017 I hope to avoid it till I make a pre Christmas delivery.
WyoCherokee Posted December 14, 2017 Posted December 14, 2017 been unseasonably dry here. just a few dustings. This usually means a very cold february and a wet spring. we shall see. Might be getting up in to the mountains earlier than May 15th this year if it stays this dry.
PCO6 Posted December 14, 2017 Posted December 14, 2017 Not exactly "playing" but I put it to work. If I had a long box I would have got a larger tree!
Pete M Posted December 14, 2017 Author Posted December 14, 2017 we got a few inches yesterday and i got to actually drive in it. even with the old tires, the Libby did quite well (never went above 25 ). makes me pine for the early days with my 88. just 2wd and an open diff, but my new BFGs just stuck like nobodies business
gogmorgo Posted December 15, 2017 Posted December 15, 2017 Which BFG's? I've unfortunately found the opposite to be true with the ko2's on my Jimmy.
Pete M Posted December 15, 2017 Author Posted December 15, 2017 the old school ones available in 1997. I had some ko2s on my dakota and they sucked in the snow.
