Blue88Comanche Posted October 17, 2014 Posted October 17, 2014 Currently our Gas prices for 87 octane are $2.79 per gallon. 93 octane the last time I filled up was $3.27. Hows the PPG looking for everyone?
AeroNautical Posted October 17, 2014 Posted October 17, 2014 It was around $2.60 in Rock Hill, SC last time I went. Not bad, considering 2 months ago is was about a dollar more than that.
88whitemanche Posted October 17, 2014 Posted October 17, 2014 Earlier this month 87- was $3.30... Yesterday as low as $3.12 a gallon
gogmorgo Posted October 17, 2014 Posted October 17, 2014 Yup, fuel prices are slowly coming down after summer up here as well. I last paid $1.199/L or about $4.04/gal after exchange rates for 87 obtane.
ComancheKid45 Posted October 17, 2014 Posted October 17, 2014 Enjoy em now, After the Mid Term elections theyll be going right back up. Political ploy is all it is :fs2:
ftpiercecracker1 Posted October 18, 2014 Posted October 18, 2014 $2.65 here in mid tn, but thats for E10 (10% max ethanol) 100% gas (0% ethanol) is still $3.25, but less is less i suppose. Enjoying it while it lasts!!
ParadiseMJ Posted October 18, 2014 Posted October 18, 2014 Paid $3.19 yesterday... It was right around $3.75 two months ago. I predict a refinery fire soon limiting the supply. Seems to always happen when prices start slipping. Oil companies need MORE profit...poor guys!!
Motorcharge Posted October 18, 2014 Posted October 18, 2014 $2.83 this morning. I need to throw one of the Jeeps on a trailer and take it to Kroger. Sept point rolled over for this month so I'm up to like $0.50 off per gallon.
Alexia Posted October 18, 2014 Posted October 18, 2014 $2.84 closest to me, but with stacking grocery discounts I paid $2.41. I brought every empty gas can I had to fill up. $9.89 saved across 23 gallons or $19.32 saved when comparing against the typical price of $3.25 that had been steady for the past year here.
NHMJXJ Posted October 18, 2014 Posted October 18, 2014 Enjoy em now, After the Mid Term elections theyll be going right back up. Political ploy is all it is :fs2: True story, but I'll enjoy the lower prices. Time to look at heating oil! Hard to get excited over $3.00/gal for gas. Been buying gas for 35 years & I remember when ...
mvusse Posted October 18, 2014 Posted October 18, 2014 Last week I filled up for $2.97, now we're right back up to $3.19.

Political ploy is all it is :fs2: True story, but I'll enjoy the lower prices. Time to look at heating oil! Hard to get excited over $3.00/gal for gas. Been buying gas for 35 years & I remember when ... Don't make yourself feel old. I'm only 27 and even I remember when it was $0.70/gallon. I thought my mom was going to start a revolution when it hit $1.00 a gallon. :laughin:
jimoshel Posted October 19, 2014 Posted October 19, 2014 In 1953 gas was 19.9 cents a gallon. Cliff Brice started another one of his price wars and it dropped down to .05.9 cents a gallon for a couple days.
Incommando Posted October 19, 2014 Posted October 19, 2014 2.93...Obama and his rich oil buddies are lowering it for the election....lol
gogmorgo Posted October 19, 2014 Posted October 19, 2014 Just saw that the price here is down to $1.159/L, so roughly US$3.89/gal.
Blue XJ Posted October 19, 2014 Posted October 19, 2014 $2.94 around here. Its about the only good thing about election time.
Pete M Posted October 19, 2014 Posted October 19, 2014 I'd be more excited if this drop in prices affected diesel more... :(
Blue88Comanche Posted October 20, 2014 Author Posted October 20, 2014 I'd be more excited if this drop in prices affected diesel more... :( Our Diesel prices dropped from 3.80 something to 3.35. It's the first time in years diesel actually dropped in price with gasoline.
shelbyluvv Posted October 20, 2014 Posted October 20, 2014 I'd be more excited if this drop in prices affected diesel more... :( Me too! I daily drive the MJ but take it any real distance because of the oil pressure and knocking issues. The CTD sits for most of the week and is only used if I need to go off base for something. It still hurts to put $3.80 a gallon fuel in it.

Political ploy is all it is :fs2: True story, but I'll enjoy the lower prices. Time to look at heating oil! Hard to get excited over $3.00/gal for gas. Been buying gas for 35 years & I remember when ... I used to fill my car up for $3.00 and that was with Premium. My then new 69 Corvair had a 14 gallon tank. $.249 or .239 for Premium. Drove out of a gas station once rather than pay $.389 a gallon for Premium. That was in 1972.
Blue88Comanche Posted October 22, 2014 Author Posted October 22, 2014 Filled the charger last night with 93 for 3.119 a gallon :)
dj5 Posted October 22, 2014 Posted October 22, 2014 $3.20 for 87 down here in sunny ft myers, florida
