  1. if they are...they are way down there, I don't see anything I bought a new fuel repair kit that matched up to the 83502745 part number so hopefully that will work good for the $20 it cost at napa. waiting for delivery to be at store in like 30 minutes
  2. so that's what I'm trying to figure out.... I can't find any O-rings or the spacer? I know from what ive seen is its supposed to be o-ring, spacer, o-ring but like I said I don't see any of that, just the plastic clip
  3. well I got the back one off...however I am not sure what might have gone wrong to give it some play but the plastic clip itself has play as well so obviously a bad seal or something?
  4. the line closest to the firewall going to the fuel rail is leaking I'm not sure of how to remove and replace as when I look it up there are a lot of different kinds and some need a tool my xj has a different kind of clip so I'm not sure of the mj my fuel line closer to the front of the jeep, I replaced that clip awhile ago and was simple but the back one doesn't wanna come off but has about 1/4 inch of play that I can push and pull on the connection to the fuel rail any suggestions?
  5. i do need to get real gauges, but the dummy gauge seemed to work okay for now and i seemed to have found the issue i have other expenses on the xj I'm worrying about right now so ac was just a nice bonus to get going for only $20, but yes you were exactly right about the air temp being around 100 degrees outside here in FL.
  6. ok so I have an answer for it all lol my ac compressor has worn out shims, took one out and now all good. the reason the pressure was red is because the compressors clutch plate wasn't engaging because of the air gap after warming up, so if the compressor isn't on, it will always read red on the gauge. figured I would clarify for anyone else this might help
  7. well I got it fixed, thanks guys lol undercharged system, said f it and went for the charge
  8. now I go to check it again and no cycling ac gauge reads red almost 100psi...
  9. sorry if this isn't wanted but my Cherokee is having an issue where its a/c is cycling every few seconds and not blowing cold I hooked up a ac can with a gauge and it goes up to about 60 psi then that's when it cycles again from 0 to 60 and again...and again...and again... ive read I might be too low on Freon but I'm scared to pump more in if its full because I see it go to red then cycle....maybe a bad switch? idk help!!! lol thanks guys I'm in florida and its hotttt, especially in parent pick up line its a 2000 xj 4.0 4x4 btw
  10. By the way, the power steering pump pulley I bought from advanced does not have a gap anywhere like that
  11. I've been busy and haven't got around to it, I'm doing it this weekend but I will check the pullies with the belt off and I have an extra water pump laying around if I need it. The harmonic balancer info is in the image
  12. I've replaced the power steering pump because it was leaking and so I replaced the belt from it going bad from fluid. Anyway I had chirping and replaced crank pulley which sorted that out but then about 40 miles later my belt shredded and I'm Wondering if the power steering pump pulley is cracked/separated or something? I'm gonna get a new one but do y'all think this caused the shredding? Thanks
  13. I know this is a dead thread but just wanted to say it was a short that was draining my battery over night and turns out my gauge is off in the voltage. Just posting an update for anyone with a similar issue
  14. I went out to start my 89 mj a couple days ago in the morning to drive to work and no electronics were working. I assume dead battery, jump it and it ran fine a few days until this morning its dead again. I do have a sound system with a 2000 watt amp and run ac and my voltage has been in the red while driving since, so i assume my alternator is tired and can't keep up. If I'm wrong on assuming that, let me know but I'm gonna get it checked anyways. But assuming it is bad, should i go for a 100a upgrade from advanced auto parts or will that have the same issue possibly?
  15. did all Comanches come stock with a vent window that opens? mine is permanently sealed on both sides...
  16. I honestly don't know. I bought mine with no cat and looks to be factory or a really good exhaust job wish I could be more help but figured I would add my input
  17. i bought a universal adapter from advanced and put it on my fill line and filled her up...still works fine 3 months later.
  18. mine is exactly the same, makes it hard to get my seatbelt when it falls...
  19. I love the injectors by the way! anybody wondering if they should do the upgrade...do it!
  20. looks like you might be better building one cus your pretty specific with a $1500 budget.
