Falling Gas Prices!!!

Down to $2.49 gas. $3.17 diesel.

I drove through KY, TN, NC, and SC on my way to spend a week on Hilton head in October. You guys had the cheapest gas of any of the 5 states that I was in.

Saw 2.59 here today. Diesel is in the 3.30 area, but my truck holds 58 gallons and I don't drive it that much so I usually don't worry about diesel prices....until it's time to fill it

same here when I saw diesel for 3.11 in Tennessee.  :eek:   I didn't even need much but felt I just had to stop.  :D  I know where I'm filling up on the way back north :yes:

When this thread was made, about $2.71. Now its going up here to $2.89. But in the 5 months of living here in Arkansas the highest I saw was $3.19. Way better than it was in NY or CT  :yes:

 

Update: $2.11 today for gas. Wow that dropped so quick I forgot it had been up. Diesel is about $2.99-3.09.

I paid 92.9¢/L last week, after a 5¢/L discount. First time I've seen gas under a dollar/litre in a looooong time, and first time I've ever paid less than a dollar/litre for gas in my own vehicle. That's CAD$3.51 per US gallon. Not bad at all, given I usually end up using $5/gallon for trip cost estimates.

Last time i checked the lowest prices around here where 2.25, but the "local news" expects gas to drop below the $2 mark this week...

You know that saying "what goes up must come down". Well same thing but reversed for gas prices. Enjoy it, it won't last as OPEC is your puppet master.

 

I buy gas no matter what the price so I'll take this temporary cheap gas... and I might b*@$£ once gas prices take a big spike too LOL

Lowest I've seen it in North AL is $2.199 at a Marathon station. My local Shell was $2.299 tonight.
