  1. dang that's a nice XJ score! I assume it was cheap too?
  2. love that headliner!
  3. so THAT'S why I can't get "MANCHE" on a tag. the truck is just spectacular! but you knew that already.
  4. you should post those pics in the Tech forum so more eyes will see 'em. not everyone checks in with the projects, but everyone see Tech.
  5. and worth every penny since a lot of our trucks have leaking windshields.
  6. seeing a bed sitting on its side is kinda freaking me out more than I though it would. lol
  7. the link in my sig has a thread in it with links to PDF version of various factory repair manuals.
  8. you'd probably need to either reuse them (i.e. build one at a time as old ones come in) or maybe even make a partial harness, where you run/bundle all the wires and let the end user reuse their connectors.
  9. it would make for a great offroad toy!

that would be one heck of a toy! I wonder what the local offroad park would make of it when you pulled up.
  11. there's always the holy grail you can shoot for, a complete new engine harness
  12. yeah, I'm leaning that way. I mean, where do I need to drive in the next couple weeks anyways? plus I'll be swapping out the hitch for a rust-free one and adding in my various factory skidplates. should be fun!
  13. the big debate is swapping in coils, or a partial teardown to install the 4.10 axles and such. Lord knows I've got nowhere to go in it, but funds are low should one of these used parts need some improvements.
  14. holy crap have they gone up in value!
  15. bought a used 12ton press yesterday. tomorrow my new coils should arrive.
  16. pretty sure I've seen that truck before. did you leave a club card behind?
  17. if it's only to be used as a bumper (as in an accident), then the original 3 bolt locations are fine. but if you're pulling on it for extraction purposes, it needs to tie-in further back like the factory tow hook brackets. welding to the frame won't help much, as it's all just sheetmetal and will tear right off. more bolts is better
  18. car-part.com found me mine. you might have to search for various years since the part numbers may have changed through the run.
  19. skim through the link in my signature. I'm sure this has come up before. maybe it's in the "informative picture" thread near the bottom?
  20. dang... sooooooo close...
  21. we need to plan a camping trip!
