the electric speedo assembly just needs to be removed and the gear driven one installed in its place I don't remember how the driveshaft length works out. my 88 was 2wd when I did the conversion and it was always going to get cut down. but I do believe the output spline count of the t-case remained the same.

I guess I'm confused by "pin". can you circle what you're referring to? in my head, if one side of the front works, the other should too. it's possible that dirt got inside and is now plugging the end. it looks like a prop valve, but it doesn't do any proportioning, just shuttles over to open up the emergency bypass for the rear. so technically it's not a prop valve. (even though most everyone refers to is as such). MJs have the prop valve (height sensing) in the rear of the truck.

that winch mount is rare as all get out whoops! looks like I missed a correction in the VIN printout. the longbeds got a 16 or a 23 gallon tank. (the "20 gal" refers to some other newer Jeep and is a reused code.)

I would pull the soft line of the caliper and see if fluid comes out at all. could be a DOA caliper. if still nothing, try pulling the hardline off the distribution block and see if fluid comes out there. I'd hate for you to go through all this to find its a pinched line. if you haven't seen it yet, the link in my signature has a thread about the factory bleeding procedure. it won't help clear a front line, but will help get the air out of the second rear line (the emergency bypass line)

I slapped a 23 spline 242 behind an AX-15 in my old '90. and I know in years past others have done it too. not sure if I remember anyone doing it to a peugeot though. it for sure has the same 6 bolt pattern. I can't help you with anything else though, as the project never got finished before I moved and had to sell the truck.

I do, but it'll have to wait until after this whole bed fiasco. there were several different mounting styles, so you'll want to snap pics of what ya got so you know it'll match up.

well, we shall see soon enough how nice it really is. none are perfect, so I'm always worried about how picky my buyers will be.

I'm making a custom bed dolly. It's a work in progress because I can't yet afford to get the casters I want, but making use of the two I had as outriggers, plus putting the previous dolly in the middle has made it way easier to lug the beds around on the uneven ground.

why did I have to get into a hobby that involved such heavy items? ugh. but so far the knee is holding together.
