    can you share a pic of the rear output where the driveshaft meets it? need to know if you have a sealed output or not.

    if you have a 4.0 with a 95 transmission, then you have a 23 spline shaft.

    is your input 21 spline (2.5L) or 23 spline (4.0L)? car-part.com might be of help with junkyards. the 231 is pretty straightforward to rebuild.

    yes, you can absolutely order a 3.4L and install it. that auto won't have overdrive, so be prepared for that. do you have the VIN? the guys can look up the build sheet.

    the radiator support crossmember should have a tag. or at least used to have a tag. over on the drivers side at the top.

    I think that's just a rust line. the 3+2s came out in the late years and have definite separate ends to the leafs.
