the 4wd conversion is easy enough that I would not turn down a good 2wd.

this is close to what I used to make back in the day. except with red beans and canned corn. it was never the same thing twice so it's kinda hard to pin it down. I like lots of stuff in my chili. oh and lots more cheese added on top once it's in a bowl.

    beans or no beans?
  6. Novak should have most of what you'll need. Advance Adapters might too. anything can fit with enough planning and money.
  7. not enough to justify the cost. just run what ya like. @scaleless

keep up on your local FB marketplace, Craigslists, etc. and don't hesitate when you see one. you don't necessarily want to buy the first one that pops up, but you most definitely want to make contact and go look at it asap. https://comancheclub.com/topic/13447-what-is-the-most-important-tip-youd-share-with-mj-owners/
  10. this is for sale near me lets see how deep into the woods those JLs really can go
  11. MTS makes new MJ senders so far only for 86-90, but still it's progress.
  12. guess this one counts as #26 so I'll include it
  13. going spring over give 5-6.5" of lift in the back over where it sits now. the front will still need a traditional lift (coils, arms, etc).
  14. didn't he find one? I thought he found one.
  15. magnet is showing signs of bondo on the pass side lower extremities. not anywhere near as much as that pic above though.
  16. yes, it's already in the registry. the vin tag was still attached to the rad support.
  17. I dragged home this pile of crap. some guy's project that he started/stopped like 10 years ago. no title of course. see-through floor on teh pass side, somethigns been repainted at some point in time, and the rear bumper is quite bent and has some nasty rot shown in the pic below. came with a pair of 97+ doors and a hood that were apparently refinished eons ago but left in primer. I'm guessing the lower bits were repainted at some point, but maybe it was just this fender. but then maybe more since I see the 4x4 badges are in the wrong spot. I haven't taken a magnet to it all yet. used to have the v6 in there the cab and the bed were filled with trash. not Jeep trash, just the regular kind. I kept anything that looked like it once belonged to a Jeep. random 97+ door on this side. original hood was still around, though not attached to anything. this was the most painful to see after I dragged it out of the weeds. mangled and I can stick my finger through it.
  18. well, I certainly don't want to install one that breaks while installing it...
  19. dang. younger me really liked to type, didn't he. thank goodness the tech still holds up.
  20. one of the best!
  21. for a shake-down run, I'd say it went pretty good. lord knows I've heard worse stories.
