You could have been on your way to owning that 'Cuda you've wanted.:grinyes:

Too bad the cuda I want is easily 100k + , but there is a sweet looking rust pile of one for sale near me for 4k...

Very nice!  Now get that power steering whine sorted out!

That's just the super charger 😁. (fluid was low and I think it was cavitating at higher rpm. It's all good now )

Consider tires with a 200 UTQG rating. There are some that are very street friendly. Example of this the falken azenis rt615k+. Amazing traction, good in the rain, low price for 17”s and don’t wear out quickly.
Teampettycash runs a 255/40r17 Rt615k+on the blue Xj in the lemons races and swears by them. They did end up swapping the to a 5.3 as well. On their red mj they are running a 245/45r17 again same tire.
I am running 255/40r17 on the Comanche and 195/60r14 azenis are great daily on the civic.

The Yokohama a052 in a 225/50r15 would work on your existing ten hole rims. Sticky compound of a 200 tread tire would be more important than wider 300- 700 tread wear tire.
hope this helps. Great build!

I actually have the azenis saved it my eBay cart.  Good to hear some feedback on them though.

I would love to keep the 10 hole rims but I need 17s to clear the big brakes I want. Plus it'll fill the fender better.

Haha, it's probably the rustiest jeep I have ever seen. It's an 1986 long bed with a 2.8 and 5 speed. It's absolutely shot. But the interior is mint and I needed a honey dash for my 88 so for 300 bucks it's mine. I'll take some more pics once home today.

Dang that sucks.  Mighty nice looking cab light there tho.  I imagine you are parting this truck out?

Yessir. I need some stuff off of it but after that it's fair game. (haven't decided if I want that bed light...)
