  1. Picked up some vintage for the comanche. Can't wait to get this all installed. Period correct for the win.
  2. I did a fresh fill of the redline fluid. It shifts really well, just whines. It may be time for a clutch too.
  3. Just a weeks worth of luggage and some spare tools. Nothing crazy.
  4. So been putting some serious miles on the new to me cherokee. Its a 2.5 / ax5. Its definitely hard going from that to my comanche and back again. Only about a 600hp difference lol. Anyway, this thing is staying stock, for now atleast, and its going to be on some long road trips coming up. The ax5 shifts pretty good, just whines a bit. Is this thing a ticking time bomb or am I just being paranoid? I also have the dana 35 and It's on 215 tires. Basically just want to know if I should be worried about it. Probably has about 190k on it. Not interested in an ax15 behind the 2.5 because if it comes to anything needed to be swapped out, its all coming out for an upgrade.
  5. So just to follow up, found the issue. I rebuilt the throttle body as soon as I got the jeep so didnt think this would be the issue. As a hail Mary I went to rebuild the fuel regulator and found this Turns out it was filling the whole thing with has through the breather and I think pouring gas into the Throttle body through the air hole. What a pain
  6. Looking for a full gauge cluster with a mechanical speedometer. 87 to 90 i believe for the years.
  7. Been a while. Haven't done much except drive it. Finally got my cowl hood on. Took 6 months to get it but I think it came out great. Still building the 9 inch and gathering parts for a hydroboost setup. Been busy with my new cherokee project so hoping to get back to the comanche soon.
  8. Got the fuel pressure as close as possible to 14.5. In desperation I moved the ISA bolt out to open the throttle a tad more. Idles at 900 now, and it will start without help. Its not a clean start but itll do it. Going to swap in the new cps I got, new coil, and grab a spark tester.
  9. I did new ICM and coil. Then swapped back to my renix ICM in trying to figure this out. CPS was a renix, then swapped to a NGK high altitude one, and I also have a brand new standard normal cps I can try.
  10. So I'm right on the money with the pressure then. Maybe weak spark adding to it? Its a new coil but electric parts these days are a crapshoot.
  11. No screw wasnt exposed. Had to dig the lead out. Adjusted it down to 15 psi on the dot and replaced the fuel injector. Still does it. Definitely not as bad as before but still have to Crack the throttle to get it to go. No Crack, and itll just crank and crank and crank. But the moment I Crack the throttle halfway or so, itll fire no problem.
  12. All brand new. Regulator was leaking when I picked it up so I rebuilt the tbi unit top to bottom. Injector is a brand new standard brand but I did also just order a brand new ac delco because I wasn't happy with the spray pattern on the standard injector
  13. Hmmm I wonder if I'm flooding at all when trying to restart.
  14. Is 18 psi a little high for the tbi unit?
  15. https://www.jegs.com/i/JEGS/555/62072/10002/-1?gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=20673855490&gbraid=0AAAAAD6OBRFkxlhq5X2RMRWayCjM6P1XB&gclid=CjwKCAjw14zPBhAuEiwAP3-Eb3UNVAje1Ooqd3kDUaLBNUsvRR0b0TeQTlQZUllxCLzvxBwQ0b2JFRoC900QAvD_BwE Right you are sir
  16. Yeah if no one takes them I definitely want the speedometer parts. Thanks.
  17. ISA was dead on doing eagle's procedure
  18. Looking for the speedometer gear housing that goes into the transfer case and the little holder for a NP207.
  19. Huh interesting but good to know. Ill add it to the list of stuff to check tomorrow. I also just got the REM hooked up today and was playing around with it so I'm sure that'll give me some good info once I figure out the menus
  20. Found your write up on it. Ill definitely be doing this tomorrow.
  21. That part i do not know. Is there a writeup for it? Yes full cluster
  22. When I turn it off the isa moves the throttle back to open so I believe its functioning. It'll only start if I feather the gas and itll slowly come to life. If I don't do anything itll just crank and crank.
  23. Thats what I also have been thinking. I have stuff to make brand new fuel lines and ill be wrapping it in that.
