  1. Been a while but this thing has been killing it all summer. 5k+ miles and not a single issue.
  2. From my accident last year, they gave me 13.5k for it. Its so old at this point they didnt even have a book value for it so what they did was an independent study I think, or something along that. They called 2 used car dealers that dealt with classic or older used and had them value it and then took the average of the 2. My biggest downfall was paint. I love the patina look but definitely hurts value. Harbor freight sells a body work hydraulic ram that did wonders for me. The entire front crossmember was "V"ed so I used that to get it near straight. Then used that crossmember brace mentioned in an earlier comment to see how it all lined up. Vice gripped together and welded. Stronger than factory.
  3. Yeah its definitely pricey. Its on sale right now for the lowest I've ever seen. Still 1800 though.
  4. Yeah that one. Its too big to use the cluster. It'll fit perfectly in the viewing area but going to have to figure out a custom mount.
  5. Found an old thread where someone said the carb version didn't have the slosh pan, but no one had it in stock. Rock auto had the diesel tank which should be the same as the carb tank and shouldn't have a slosh pan. Ordered it so I'll see when it comes in.
  6. Does anyone know if the diesel tank has a slosh baffle in it?
  7. Actually picked them up last year and just have been waiting to get them on. And its a red and tan "jeep". They are off the full-size from the 60s wagoneers and j series.
  8. Done and done. Sent you a PM
  9. Anyone got a busted or bad shape gauge cluster? I'm trying to fit a holley LCD dash and want to use one as a template. I just need the housing in good shape, cluster doesn't matter.
  10. And she lives! https://youtu.be/S4GXUUGj3zE?si=znriM1Zl_NVSLQdh
  11. Anyone have a good condition 2 spoke steering wheel? With the non-vinyl or Shiney horn button
  12. I'm gonna try the adhesive first, but if it comes to it I'll just tack weld. Not like I really care about the paint haha
  13. Alright thanks guys. I'll pick some up and give it a shot
  14. So my hood bracing has separated from the skin, assume it was part of my accident. I'd really like to keep this hood. Seems like it was an epoxy they used to secure it. Anyone have recommendations for some strong stuff?
  15. I have the wilwood kit. It was pricey but the jeep stops incredible since I've installed it. I was going to go the DIY route but honestly for 1k I felt it was just easier to get the kit instead of tracking down so many parts. Wilwood was bolt on, maybe 2 hours
  16. More progress. Alternator wouldn't fit with the factory steering box so went with a borgeson unit from a full size chevy car. It's super tight but it'll work, and it's a quick ratio box so it should be nicer. Swapped out the camaro supercharger lid for a cadillac one. Hood is so close to making it shut with no cutting. Gonna try some hood spacers and hope it works. Got the front end finished from accident repair. I was worried about the integrity of the front crossmember with it being all bent so I skinned it with some 3/16 plate. Should be way stronger now. Also upgraded to a really nice relay and fuse box so once again redoing all the wiring in the engine bay.
  17. Nope. Dual clutch from monster clutch out of Texas. 700hp rated.
  18. I got a really good deal on an iron block so unfortunately no aluminum. I'd love a 6.2 but it's gen 4 and my ecu is for a gen 3 and I don't really want to shell out another 1500+ for it. All the supercharger stuff is so pricey.
  19. Both. Engine out makes fixing the crossmember easier and I'm going to a 6.0 now.
  20. Slowly but surely. Need this weather to break and daylight to last longer.
