  1. New style throwout bearing. Works with 12 inch clutches which is stock for the LS. The tilton bearing did great but was limited to an 11 inch. Just had to swap the front plate and the new one slides right on.
  2. So part of why I bought the tremec TKX was the shifter location option being in the dead same spot of the factory shifter. I had bought it when it was brand new and turned out tremec hadn't even developed the mid-shift kit for it. American power train came up with the shifter I've had and it worked great, but I wasn't crazy about it. Found out silver sport transmission came out with a real mid shift and ordered it up. Just installed it and so far I'm pumped. Little crazy opening up and modifying my 3k transmission but it ended up perfect.
  3. Finally got some videos of the truck with the new cam. https://youtube.com/shorts/8jb8JmpMFP4?feature=share https://youtube.com/shorts/kJyFshWZfOg?feature=share
  4. I actually don't have a good video of it which is strange. Ill take one of a cold start and idling once it comes out for the season. I got a BTR truck norris, very lopey and does not loose any torque in the curve at all from factory.
  5. If you really want LED's but hate the look of the housing style like I do, the holley retrobrights are awesome. expensive, but way worth it in my opinion.
  6. Added some new bling valve covers. They were on clearance and I couldn't resist.
  7. I have a 97 engine in my 2000. I did the viper coil set up as my coil was shot anyway. Theres a guy that makes a bracket and wire harness adapter and it works pretty good and looks clean.
  8. They are a kit for a newer mustang. I think 2010 and up I want to say. I got them on clearance and figured I could make them work. They actually were too long and I had to mount them way lower than I had planned.
  9. Never really felt confident in the stock hood latches so installed some hood pins. With the bumpers it sits perfect.
  10. How did you mount the new fuel pump? Stock sender? I got a wahlboro 255 but haven't figured out a way to mount it yet.
  11. So my buddy brought up a very good point for the bench. I am pretty short and sit extremely close to be able to reach the pedals. Pretty much everyone that ever rides with me is gonna be squished against the dash. So I'm sticking with the buckets. I think I am going to paint them with the sem color. I've had excellent results redoing the arm rests so I figure why not.
  12. Even with the bench I would only ever have 1 other person with me. Seeing the pictures of the bench make me want it lol even though I built this to be a sort of race jeep I just love a grandpa fresh interior on an old truck
  13. I do like having the center console. I wish I could find a nice set of buckets in the almond color. I think what I'm really after is just something to match. I'm not a huge fan of the black seats in my tan interior
  14. I love these buckets and the look. I just think a bench with the same pattern would be killer. But that's 2 bench and 1 bucket.

    Bench seat

Someone talk me out of wanting a bench seat. I have custom "racing" buckets currently and I love them, but I've always wanted a bench seat just to give it the old school truck vibe. Ideally I would get it refinished to match the tan and plaid interior in have. Thoughts??

    Bench seat

Looking for a bench seat. Need the color from the 86 only, I believe it's called almond. Would like good shape. Would consider any color as well. In NJ willing to travel around tri state. Would also consider the almond color buckets. Thanks!
  17. Yeah if it was metal I think it would be easier. Being plastic it's going to be tougher give it the fake patina.
  18. So I have the new bumper from OGR ordered and would like to try and match the patina on the jeep best I can. I was thinking of painting it black, painting it with the Colorado red and then rubbing through in some parts to give it the worn look. No clear so hopefully it'll sun fade pretty quickly, then I'll clear over it. Any better ideas?
  19. alright, street comanche copy-cat here I come!
  20. Awesome. I am Definitely interested in the front bumper with the ducts and splitter but would like to wait for the pictures first.
  21. Gotchya. Thanks for the reply. What's the time line for the extras? I saw the other stuff says q2 of 2023.
  22. You guys have any pictures of the brake cooling and splitter that goes with the front bumper?
  23. Oh I'm definitely going to be getting a front bumper for sure. This is so cool.
  24. Charity car show. They had a bunch of sponsors for trophies and I guess someone like the Comanche.
  25. Been a while since I've posted. Just kinda fell out of updating. Last I left off I was installing the new caltracs and wilwood brakes. Truck has 0 wheel hop and stops ridiculously well now. Also installed a BTR cam, got the heads redone, and tidied up the entire bay some more. This truck rips now and sounds absolutely amazing. I spent the whole summer learning to tune myself and even though it took A LOT of learning, Ive got it pretty good. Really put some miles on it this summer. All Breeds jeep show, friends wedding way in upstate NY, and Roadkill nights in Pontiac Michigan. jeep did really really well. Only issue I had was the trans speedo line started leaking on me. That was it, so absolutely no complaints. This year I don't have any huge plans. A company came out with an actual mid shift conversion for the TKX so just gotta get the courage to open up the trans and modify it for that. Little apprehensive about doing that because it permanently modifies the trans but it's out of warranty now so oh well. It'll put the shifter literally in the factory location and no weird offset bar like I'm running now. We'll see what else I can find to do, and if I outgrow the N/A power....
