I own my first and 19th comanches still...both in a bit of disrepair, but still here.

1986 comanche, 2.8l was 2x4 full 4x4 conversion, swapped 2.8 out for buick 3800. currently sitting due to bad rod bearing, inability to keep ax5's in it, and it got hit in the driver's rear quarter.

and my 87-gone-95-gone-99. was 2x4 with d44, swb. several stages of lifts, currently apart due to lots of plan changing.

Bought Baby when I was 16 for $600 not even knowing what I had just bought. It took me until I was 21 to get the title away from my mom because she liked it so much as well.

Oldest picture I have of her (circa 2005)

Last time I seen her (as Jeepco had her loaded up to go to his place)

In between then, she has seen a number of minor cosmetic changes (a lot of which I wouldn't dare do knowing what I do now). When I get her back, she should be only one phase away from being just as I always envisioned her to be.

Still got her sitting out side. Hydrolocked, dented and every thing. And she's always gonna have that parking spot.

Brandon,

I feel your pain and hope you get your truck back on the road soon. Of course, I have only had my first Comanche for a few months, but it has been such a good experience, I kind of wish I bought that new 88 Olympic edition when I had the chance back in the day.

My 1st MJ was an 86 Starline conversion that I drug back from PA to GA. I had it for 3 months and never did a thing to it. It just sat in my driveway and rusted. I sold it to a guy in Indy and forgot about it.

Betty is truely my first MJ I ever bought, restored, and drove. Even with the 2.5 she got me hooked. It killed my soul to let her go but I had no choice. I watched her like a hawk as she changed owners, got impounded, and was sold to a buddy of mine. I had to have her back and was finally able to talk the new owner into letting me buy it back.

I am glad I did. It is an awesome truck and she will be with me until the day I can no longer climb in the cab.

The first MJ that was handed down to me (from my grandfather) was an '86 with the 2.8L and auto trans. Sadly, I got in over my head with it and chose to take it to the junkyard. It needed a new engine and I didn't have the knowledge or tools to do that at the time.

The first MJ I ever bought with my own money and was titled in my name would be my '92 that I have now. Still have it and will drive it until it dies...then replace whatever broke on it and drive it some more.
