KYMJ
If I hadn't have bought a TJ, I would still have 2. I ran out of parking places. I enjoy the MJ's more than the TJ.

87Warrior
I have found that I do not desire to own another MJ. But I want to save them all from the scrap yards. My hands are full keeping my TJ maintained and working on my MJ. I did enjoy driving the MJ more than the TJ back when it was running. I have a sinking suspicion I may desire to sell my beloved TJ once my MJ gets all built up. Only time will tell.

Comanche County
Its like having a new baby boy that must be nurtured and pampered, but as he grows older, he's gets to wear big boy shoes, at least 33's. Then you toughen him up, prepare him for the big bad world. Teach him to work out and get strong (upgrade suspension and gears), take him camping (get him muddy), contact football, boxing (trail and rock beatings). Finally a day will come when you will look at him and he's become the man you knew he could be.
beaterjeep
It is an addiction that is hard to kick, much like any street drug. Once you have had one, you must have the rest and the best!

beepbeepmyredjeep
... you need another one and another one. Because sometimes its cheaper to buy a whole vehicle than just a bed full of parts?

mkbruin
I've had two manche's and will absolutely get another someday to build into a family expedition rig. I think they are the perfect length, width, and wheelbase to carry the family and gear to the camp spot, and they are easy to build. Easily my favorite vehicle ever. terrawombat
I go through phases. I'm at the end of a ZJ phase right now. I think I'll head back to an XJ phase now that I've sold two of mine off...
89Tonto
Picked up a white 89 MJ Pioneer 4x2 SWB, 4.0L, with floor mounted AT and AC today. Good solid rockers and bed. 99% rust free.
streetjeep2.5
Yea, I think MJ's are addictive, even to the non-owners. Being a pastor, I conducted a Baccalaurate service at a high school. On the way out I saw a few students taking second and third glances at it. Now, remember, mine is 4x2.
dfreeman616
tonto, i think i can help you stop the madness. simply tell me when and where, and i will make all arrangements to pick up any/all comanches and/or comanhce parts. call it an "intervention" if you like :D
mkbruin
I go through phases. I'm at the end of a ZJ phase right now. I think I'll head back to an XJ phase now that I've sold two of mine off... I would love to get into a ZJ phase, but can't stand the trans/t-case options. Having gone through a couple MJ's and a TJ, Right now I am on my third XJ (have 2 at the moment). I think I'll skip the ZJ and go straight to the 4.7 WJ, the 545re's are proving to be VERY dependable.
NewfieMJ
I go through phases. I'm at the end of a ZJ phase right now. I think I'll head back to an XJ phase now that I've sold two of mine off... I would love to get into a ZJ phase, but can't stand the trans/t-case options. Having gone through a couple MJ's and a TJ, Right now I am on my third XJ (have 2 at the moment). I think I'll skip the ZJ and go straight to the 4.7 WJ, the 545re's are proving to be VERY dependable. I got bored with the ZJ habit , that's kinda why I'm here . The Comanche took my interests . 2 Trannys to look out for in a ZJ 42RE and 44RE's . My favorite yrs are 93-95 V8's and 98 w/5.9 . Those had the 46RH and 46RE(98) internally , these are the same transmissions used in the trucks . In all honesty , the biggest issues with any transmissions is lack of maintenance which leads to other issues . If you don't change your oil , the trans will wear the clutches faster , tend to clog/stick valves and filters , and with the Grands , plug up at the check valve(removed on both mine) . I also have drain plugs installed in any trans pan I drop so about 4-6 quarts can be changed without dropping anything (B&M makes them). Probably the hardest to find , and one of the most desired ZJ was offered in 93-94 in very limited numbers . That was a AX-15 driven ZJ . Not sure about exact production but it was very small , under 1000 for both years IIRC . Only offered with the 4.0 of course . Personally , I've grown fond of my V8 jeep's power . Took my MJ for 2 rides and already made up my mind that 2.5 has gotta go before I can start driving it . You can't knock the ZJ's for cushy comfort on/off-roading . No trouble to pack 4 ppl and all the gear to camp out . They do look prety cool all lifted and stuff , lol :D
steveM
Jeep vehicles are very addictive- I have had Comanche, YJ, and {XJ- currently}.. would love to find a clean MJ as a weekend pickup. I if I had it my way i'd have one of each.. I like GC'S too as well as the old full size stuff.. I'm definetly in MJ/XJ phase right now..
