What matters most here is that we all share a love for these trucks and respect how we treat them, you are now among friends that you'll probably never meet face to face, but get to know very well! As far as all this young kids talk goes....My kids will start from scratch (with their Dad's help) with something they buy with the money they earn or have saved, just like I did! I learned very quickly how to care for cars that way!

I must have oddballs then, My renix MJs treat me very well and because so many Jeepers have hate for them I get cheap or free parts from everyone! I appreciate the bonus gas mileage I get over the HO setup, I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder...

I've got both up here in southern WI, 30 min north of Janesville. I have a set of 4 turbines, they all have black spray paint on them. I spent some time spraying a spot on one of them with a pressure washer and most of it came off. I washed them to store them so all of the gunk is off, just still have the black paint on them to finish removing. Complete with the center caps. How nice of a tailgate are you looking for? I have two complete ones with rust in different areas on the shelf that I'd let go... PM me if you are interested!

To me those just look like bad news for holding salt, dirt and moisture... they will rust your bed away faster than if they were not there. Is there a big demand for these for the guys who just wheel their MJs and don't have to worry about keeping them clean of road grime?

Anyone else notice there is a cargo light switch, but no cargo light?

The header panels are the same, so it's very easy to swap them around. A mere 8 screws hold in both styles.

As far as I can tell: 10 slots came on the '87 and prior years, 8 slots came on '88 and after. I've got a few 10 slots, like them much more than the 8s :)
