    Yup. You have a cruise control harness. There should be three more empty plugs or two. One is brakes, one is the pulse sensor and the other is for the stalk control

    I agree with Minuit. I would like to know what the headlight harness connector is. It also is used on early AMC AC control head connectors and 91+ AC control head as well. Knowing what the connector is would make it easier for those to add aux lights off the factory harness.

    Are you viewing the site on a mobile device? Usually on a PC will show where one is located but not on a mobile device like an iPhone.

    They are chrome. I thought about painting them black but decided against it. Now I do have a pair of towing eyes that I have never seen before that are black. I don't blame you. I can’t wait either. I had to spend a day thinking about how to cut the hole in the dam.

    Looks like the type of Jeep Florida man would drive. I think that switch by the column looks like a door bell button.

    Skid plate finished and running boards are back on. Time for a sammich and some Pepsi-Cola Shes coming together. Bug shield, AMC radio and tow hooks.

    Looks like a happy 3.7L. Glad to see a mess cleaned up.

    Front skid plate halfway installed. Currently letting engine shock mount bolts cure in vinegar for rust removal(that's where the skid plate mounts on the pass side). Next will be the tow hooks and putting the running boards back on. Then hopefully the front bug shield.

    One thing down. Few more to go! One NOS vanity visor installed. Thank you @coheed for the MJ vanity wiring harness!

    I have an OEM side marker and I can get my hands on an OEM turn signal lamp. I can’t remember if the big lamp bezel is around as OEM. You’ll have to go after market for the grill and bumper.

    Well that's true. I was thinking more like rusted in half kind of rusted. Unless you want to fix that level of rust.

    Well...still no decals on her yet. Still driving a gorgeous red brick. But on the other hand the bed has been sprayed with a spray in liner so I don’t have to worry about painting that only just to have it get screwed up. And the bed mat is back in as well. Need to let the paint on the tailgate cure before adding the chrome wrap over. Also scored a neat NOS bug shield. Hate how it has a giant MoPar sticker on it but oh well. The weird thing is that this part has a MoPar label but yet has the AMC number which makes me think that the part changes were not as immediate as they could’ve been back then. I think I’m gonna knock out a few things this weekend so stay tuned for hopefully a few neat pieces to go in.

    Andy I got a set of nozzles. Boy were they hard to find. I didn’t think they were going to be stingy on separating complete cowl panels but I managed to find two broken cowls with good nozzles.

    Yes someone bought the last two inner shift boots!!! I was about to buy one from a dealer and someone snagged both boots!! I was mad but didn’t show it. Oh well.

    Yup! That is correct! Was it where i thought it was? That bezel supersedes to an AB. I thought it went to a different part number.

    Actually 86 has them at the end of the bed. 87-92 put them under the pilar. It looks good for the 4x2 models.

    It was this build that inspired me to do a few details to Little Red. Notably the AMC back window sticker and the AMC Jeep badges below the vents. I loved reading this build and reminds me of my time building mine. I will have to go a reread it sometime soon now that it has resurfaced.
