  1. Yup both her and Bob.
  2. Merry Christmas from the surface of the sun!!(That's cold right now)
  3. Looks great! Need a shift boot bezel retainer or is the console broke?
  4. Well I got off work early but due to the dastardly rain, I wanted to start the tow hooks but can't. So I made use of my time and rebuilt a couple ratchets that have taken a toll from working on LR. Nice to have rebuilt ratchets, not fun to rebuild.
  5. Did you put a 2.5L Throttle body....on a 4.0L intake manifold? Doesn't matter. It won't run. You would need a 2.5L wiring harness and computer to run the TBI injector and it might run but seriously doubt it would handle any load. Might die as soon as you turn on the AC.
  6. To be fair I was scared to do the cargo light and then I said "hell with it, I paid for it and I'm gonna install it!" I don't regret my choice. As far as leaks, RTV on the gasket to the body worked great.
  7. Trust me. It is very very tempting and only being allowed to have one car right now sucks. Unless other members of my family would let me store it. But the hunt for those parts would be very fun. I haven't looked into the diesel parts portion of the catalogue yet.
  8. I don’t blame the vendors pricing like that though because those will be special special order parts.
  9. The CPS? There’s only one way to change it. You have to unbolt the two bolts holding the sensor in place on the drivers side of the bell house and then unplug it from the engine side. Be careful not to drop the bolts down into the housing. A decent length extension and an 11mm socket should take the bolts out.
  10. Sounds like CPS. Cruise has testing procedures on this to root out a bad CPS
  11. I thought he had trouble trying to get parts as in most were across the pond.
  12. Would love to. Kinda hard to have a second vehicle while still living at home. I’m sure my father would approve but I digress. I’ve seen some stuff about winnebagos using Renix. Nothin about the diesels.
  13. Its not 100% accurate and we don't swear by them to be such. It is more or less a general idea of what your truck came with. Like we tell all new members who post in the registry, Chrysler changed the meaning of some sales codes over the years. So if the truck came with something that was replaced by a newer sales code, the current build sheet will reflect that unless you have the original one on hand. We have found 90% of these sales codes to be accurate.
  14. If its factory it would be the 2.1L Turbo. I would love to have the diesel just for gas mileage and uniqueness but parts for the engine are hard to come by. Worse than MJ body parts.

  17. Holy schnikes!! That's literally right up the road from me and I have never ever seen that truck once!
  18. Ironically no. But any AMC vehicles in AZ get scooped up because of being rust free. Which is why its a pain to find parts Jeeps or any cheap Jeep because of them being rust free. Glendale AZ is where I'm located.
  19. It can be a simple fix. I just went through rigorous testing only to find out the control unit(yellow box) went bad and did so in a spectacular fashion.
  20. Well NOS is out of the question.
  21. Yup. You have a cruise control harness. There should be three more empty plugs or two. One is brakes, one is the pulse sensor and the other is for the stalk control
  22. Alrighty. I’ll snap some pics for ya later.
  23. I agree with Minuit. I would like to know what the headlight harness connector is. It also is used on early AMC AC control head connectors and 91+ AC control head as well. Knowing what the connector is would make it easier for those to add aux lights off the factory harness.
  24. Are you viewing the site on a mobile device? Usually on a PC will show where one is located but not on a mobile device like an iPhone.
