chrysler 8.25 swap setting pinion angle

Good place to put your angle finder is on the vertical part of where the engine mounts to the tranny and the face of the pumkin, a casting web or depending on your rear axle. -
chrysler 8.25 swap setting pinion angle

Thanks guys was yea I'm staying spring under think I'm just gonna eyeball mine as well and see what happens from there. Kind of like if it's a little screwed up, it's just like just a being a little bit pregnant. Eyeball method is bad, especially if you weld it up, its not right, and the guy who knows how to use an angle finder/protractor just shakes his head and charges you twice for what you could have done proper the first time. Angle finder costs less than $10... -

Thought it might be a separate "COMANCHE" emblem.

Tailgate name? No pics?

The emblem? Rare is subjective, but uncommon, yes.

Sounds like it took quite a hard hit, don't know the condition of your MM to block bolts, but suggest you check them if you haven't already. -

Ever hear "let sleeping dogs lie?" no wonder JCR and others don't want to make MJ parts, easier to not make them and deal with perceived legal hassles, than to help the MJ community by producing a product that people try dig up all the legal dirt soon as they see it. As someone stated earlier "better snatch them up, probably a limited run" yup, I wouldn't be surprised that when they gone, they gone for good, because someone needed to point out perceived legal flaws and the manufacturer don't want the hassle when it shows up... -
Cool video. Sorry about the tail light, and why no armor? Looks like the @$$ end gonna take a beatin.

Harmonic vibration above 70MPH

FYI, some people assume that because the (stock) MJ DS is internally dampened with a huge chunk of rubber it cannot be shortened, it can be shortened, and will work, mine was shortened, and works well. -

Suggest having the DS balanced, or poor man balance with two hose clamps on the DS. Put them both at 12 oclock, drive, if bad or worse move clamps till better at both 180*, then split at 270* etc. Without being there myself I wouldn't totally rule out a tire issue either, could have thrown a wheel weight and or something causing an out of balance like mud or debris in wheels or brake drums? -
Good u joints. I regularly run the Chief 475 mi one way (Montana is a long way across) and have pulled a 2500 lb gross trailer back full... if you consider that an oil change is +/- 3k mi and you don't have an issue regularly during that amount of time. Have fun, and remember, "a road trip isn't an adventure unless something happens."

Yup I have 98, 91,and 92 2dr XJs, They kind of rare, any of the 2dr side glass, doors etc are body specific gonna be hard to find some day, if not already. I'm planning on building a 2dr family rig cause I like the uniqueness of it and I have a spare 2dr for parts. I suggest don't buy it, you'll never be able to get your money back out of it and you'll hate it (kidding), next thing you'll buy another for parts later, then this other one comes along....then you find another MJ for $300 then.....JustEmptyEveryPocket
