  1. @Pete M is the man! Awe yes back in its glory year's before you....ummm ...scratches..
  2. Hardcore tech... gas shock hood lift install. I find it hard to believe with my love for self tapper screws and MacGyver build is not as hardcore I don't think.. When compared to your much deserved respect for a great build upgrades and modifications forever deserves to be in the hardcore tech. Enjoy and appreciate your build and sharing of what works for you.
  3. Awesomeness. Love that grill and lovin that black. I like your interior design. living the dream is something else in these trucks and going through the mountains with 5 jugs firing is an experience only known to those as memories we never forget. Been there done that we shall all say, and yeah it was in my jeep. Congratulations. Sweet rig.
  4. Well I'm very happy with the results. Sits level and only sags a couple inches with trailer and by far better handling all around. So thanks again to @Pete M for getting me leaf springs even as we both have had vehicle incidents. but its back together and running great. New battery to replace my 7 year old mt-34. Very happy with that battery as well which is why ill keep using it. Also got a reconditioned deep cycle to run the converter in the back, ill be just getting the system wired and figured out for now and plan to get a agm battery for the second battery. peace of mind. Also while taking a walk I found a rolled up foam pad along side of the road. So scored as its a perfect fit in the back and another welcomed addition to the bed set up. Definitely happier with this set up and have come to like the look or functionality of having the topper installed. Great weekend to get out and play.....maybe, figure Id work a bit to kill time until dinner.
  5. I feel like you are building up like my rig.
  6. Fullfilling dreams, Changing life's, great support from this here club.
  7. Tap it with a 🔨 give it a little rub, whisper let's get some gas!
  8. First try is the charm. Just gotta wing it and just deal with issues as they reveal themselves. feels better by doubling up the leaf back. Still feels soft and flexy almost add a sway bar but not going to happen flexy, you know what I mean..? Now I'll get everything tighten back down and zip tie the brake lines to secure my safety... side note replace entire brake system ASAP.. So once I get it back out for a test drive, I'll hook up the trailer and see what difference came about in means of carring capitcity squatting ratio. And because I want to do brakes sooner then later I'll deal with wheel hub seal next time I park where I can get the axle shaft out. Damn 10' garages. We all know it's a shed marked up and sold as a single garage to them city folks that gots no room for a real garage.
  9. Got one side back together as a 6 leaf setup. Two from the main pack and the one add a leaf 3" and I put stock shackles back on. My camera isn't working anymore 😭. So I'll get other phone pics uploaded in a bit here. Gotta test ride height out but need a new center pin for other pack. Ubolts and top plates I reduced the size to a simple 1/2'' and hopeing to be a trade off in weight with the new leaf pack combo.
  10. When in doubt, get the mfing cut off wheel out! Press it only so far and now just cutting them off and even more so since I'll be cutting the bushing off the old leaf pack anyways, only to use them in the replacement leaf packs. Also going to try and reduce some weight a bit. Not much but I figure an easy 4lbs per leaf plate is a easy fix. So I'll chase after some hardware later once I get the thing torn down completely. Here's to having a dream! RIP MLK!
  11. Well since it was a bit cold last few days, the Jeep battery after 5 years says it's done. So in the shop in goes to await duel battery setup and since I managed to fit it completely in the shop, time to under go the rear leaf replacement as well as a couple new seals to boot. Progress is progress. Looking to make it out for the annual Dog Party this year come next month. Be great to be able to get out and winter wheel with some others.
  12. Check fuel pump before fuel filter to ensure pump working. Check fuel after inline filter to ensure it's not clogged, next place be fuel rail then spark plugs for fuel.
  13. see u later bye. Next.
