Thats my issues as well currently. Fuel pump needs replaced with tank. I rather enjoy the long crank, start then die and then rev up and settle and stumble then purr like a kitten. also since my neighbor has decided to tell me fu over whatever issues, i rather like starting the rig up next to their bedroom window first thing in the morning. Gotta love America and the city life!

mini beast Project: Stock To Beast!!!

Nothing like heading stright to your destination. Be it this side or that side it is always passed the apple orchard. Just a delight a a cool summer night , but not tonight, we're looking for that familiar glowing light, that one that helps to keep you warm. It was cold a camp and when you hit the woods its often colder out. stayed warm and got to put in some work as i reckon it was something to do. wood fire is great and its even better when you have a insulation in the ceiling to help hold the heat in longer. progress is progress. Jeep was fun in the snow and playing in the foot of snow we have around here. No major wheeling thus no major breaks. Still need to address steering sooner then later, and a new vibe in driveline and leaning towards rear drive line with the leaf pack rebuilding. May need to shim it up a bit... run it and work it out. -

Looks like you have 96 dash and what not as well so things may be confused on the Ignition also to back harness which contains fuel pump power.
-
Should be on firewall for 96 xj and renix has one on the throttle body itself. You may have a renix setup yet with h.o head and block...

Its good to regularly "test" things on these jeeps. Seems to help keep things in working order. -
They always come back. I did.

Looks to be missing a map sensor to start.. double check fuel air and spark systems, cps and tps common replacement sensors as well as oxygen sensor. Obd 2 setup should have a return line from rail back to tank. Decent truck found there. Look forward to updates. Thanks for sharing your project adventure with us here.

Yet another no heat problem

It rad has a cap you do not need a bottle... in means of a open system vs a closed system. Matters in your not building the proper pressures in the system, your just running stright as if you had no thermostat at at which only opens at certain temperature. Have you blown out the heater core as well when flushing the engine? -

Well since we were getting 5"+ of snow, being winter and all, didnt feel up to working on much other then the jeep. So I been focusing on that in the shop trying to get the wire ran and battery isolator installed. Well get it got and do did it. Looks good enough to work and it just the right price range, about $22.22. Just a part cost in the initial cost of buying the battery cable crimper and crimp ends. So glad to buy that tool just for this 2nd project alone. Being able to have the tool to perform the project and being able to re-utilize the wiring I already have as its a bit more these days. Also it was rewarding to accomplish such things for myself, and thats the enjoyment in life I desire most. All about the experience you get out of life. Enjoy the day my friends. Thanks for hanging out in my world, MaynardHood. I did get inside and bake a cake and eat some chicken all using just me cast iron pan. Offgrid ongrid eh?
