    Peel it off and clean it up. I like it. perhaps a little wd-40 or goo gone to loosen it up. or maybe a heat gun and scraper? maybe one of those rubber things for the drill those body shop guys use... Good luck, share your progress.

    Honestly run what ever you have available at that affordable price. Just gears let em grind and work. I have always used and abused my 231s with atf and typically change it once in a while playing in water, otherwise keep it full and run it. No worries.

    I don't have pics but ran that setup on the 2dr xj down to Alabama. Rode great, flexed great loved the solid links hated the junk poly bushings that failed within a year. Mounting was stright forward and still use current crossmember.

    I just grinded the old mount off and welded in the right spot..i think..

    Pump may work but pressure regulator on the rail may be dirty causeing the check valve to leak causing the fuel to drain and loss of pressure. And or your mustang injectors dumping to much fuel in the start up.

    Nice shot guys. I seen a helicopter hauling a city bus yesterday but I didn't have my camera. That was a rather weird sight.

    I have tossed many of "stock" parts that I didn't think much about. Sometimes you just don't know.
