  1. Looks to be missing a map sensor to start.. double check fuel air and spark systems, cps and tps common replacement sensors as well as oxygen sensor. Obd 2 setup should have a return line from rail back to tank. Decent truck found there. Look forward to updates. Thanks for sharing your project adventure with us here.
  2. Onto the next one eh?? well sounds like a nice candidate to be slammed. Congrats and look forward to some project pics. Not very often do you find these be lowered but they do have a nice sporty look when they are.
  3. Things are working and we are getting driving experience. Drive time, plus 1 hr.
  4. Yeah and I missed out on the gold as was bit out my price range. congrats.
  5. Sweetness. Appreciate your posting here. Love to learn more about the build. Nice rig.
  6. It rad has a cap you do not need a bottle... in means of a open system vs a closed system. Matters in your not building the proper pressures in the system, your just running stright as if you had no thermostat at at which only opens at certain temperature. Have you blown out the heater core as well when flushing the engine?
  7. Well since we were getting 5"+ of snow, being winter and all, didnt feel up to working on much other then the jeep. So I been focusing on that in the shop trying to get the wire ran and battery isolator installed. Well get it got and do did it. Looks good enough to work and it just the right price range, about $22.22. Just a part cost in the initial cost of buying the battery cable crimper and crimp ends. So glad to buy that tool just for this 2nd project alone. Being able to have the tool to perform the project and being able to re-utilize the wiring I already have as its a bit more these days. Also it was rewarding to accomplish such things for myself, and thats the enjoyment in life I desire most. All about the experience you get out of life. Enjoy the day my friends. Thanks for hanging out in my world, MaynardHood. I did get inside and bake a cake and eat some chicken all using just me cast iron pan. Offgrid ongrid eh?
  8. Solid. Need to weld my bracket on as well. good work. you planning a bumpstop or can of sorts to handle that uptravel??
  9. Using them takes some sense and know how in means of a stright stick holding the jeep up. Balance and coordination is key attributes for anyone using this jack. Its very functional and has winched me out of many holes before I was able to afford a mount a winch on the jeep. Since then I have yet to use it very much if at all these days. However I keep it in It's place and carry the extra weight as it does serve a purpose and can be used in many ways for any sort of recovery or trail repair that I find myself in. With my jeep having 37s and 8.5" of lift it does come in handy to lift my jeep under the front or rear bumpers. Makes for a easy way to right a inverted shackle for sure. Can they be scary sometimes, for sure, is it still worth it to have one, to me for sure.
  10. I tried getting out in one of those hot air things just this last fall. Booked solid they was three months out even. Going to try again this summer. I WANT to be a bird.
  11. Easy couple bolts side of block. You can handle it no problem.
  12. Looks to be from Texas.
  13. If thats not the jeep model, anything you buy for the jeep must be an upgrade opportunity.
  14. Just had someone friday say I had a bastard rear end. That it was a cherokee with Toyota truck back half. Wtf? I even pointed out the jeep on the tailgate still though it was a toy with stickers.
  15. all cleaned up and ready for snacks. I really like the dividers mostly, and this is more a dry food box as well. Looking to get one of them fancy fridge/freezer coolers with having the dual battery setup. So look into that after a while perhaps after steering systems have been taken care of.
  16. Yet you own/ed more then one jeep...
  17. Yeah they be same, swap em out. Rockauto.com
  18. I have had this same issue. Was said to hammer it a bit as suppose to be some adjustments in the lentgh, by i just ended up separating the rubber bushing at the top and jacked it all up. But it allowed me to lengthen the shaft to connect it. Which i then just drilled a hole through shaft at bushing to pin the two together. Worked. But i always thought about it when driving so i had swapped it out for a different one that bolted right in.
