  1. if I remember right, the snout is about 1" longer than the 35
  2. anyone need any magnets to hand out?
  3. yup, that coil is pretty bowed. you need to grab an angle finder and measure your caster.
  4. depends on the condition of the axle. but then I no longer buy rusted things. I've been spoiled since my family moved to GA.
  5. note that the evap ports are in a slightly different orientation which meant I had to custom make the foam seal. I could not locate one that had the exact same locations as the 88 in my driveway. but the old foam was trash and leaky so it was going to happen anyways. https://www.amazon.com/Evaporator-Core-Compatible-Jeep/dp/B09S41YQ8Y https://www.amazon.com/Spectra-Premium-93024-Heater-Core/dp/B000C7TSNG/
  6. what are you guys using to remove the oil filter adapter? tried to get a 97+ unit from the junkyard only to find that the t-60 bit plus the ratchet doesn't fit in the space available.
  7. nice! I love engineering overkill. what's your caster set to?
  8. got mine on amazon. any parts store can get them too. if you're digging that deep into the truck, make sure you have a list of everything you can accomplish on the way in. especially with water intrusion spots like the antenna grommet and hvac seals.
  9. oooohhh, the axle side. I was thinking the body side and was wondering how on earth they got damaged. yeah, I would get some upgraded ones and weld them on. or better yet, a whole new axle just in case this one is damaged in ways you can't easily tell until you start driving it again.
  10. pictures of the damage?
  11. there was no visible rust on the truck I'm rebuilding until we pulled the glass. then we found surface rust on both the front and back window urethane locations. if you find this, it must be dealt with properly to have any hope of resealing the new urethane.
  12. also good. but if you're going to wheel it, ya gotta protect it.
  13. rather than a new one from a parts store that is returnable?
  14. is the factory clutch going to hold and release as normal with the lighter fan?
  15. if anyone that bought them could test the passive reflectivity of them and report back, that'd be awesome.
  16. those look pretty rough. like-125-for-the-whole-set levels of rough.
  17. apparently this is with the Ukrainian 43rd Artillery Brigade. earning it's keep lookin' for the drones. the blur would be opsec.
  18. that actually looks pretty cool. I shall call it: reverse patina.
  19. yup, the "classic Jeep life". car shows and repairs.
