Yeah I would have loved to see it in person.  It was on absolutely everything, they had like 10hrs straight of freezing rain.

Yeah all was well thankfully.  I'd recommend just staying away from Iowa, we've had all kinds of weird weather this year.

no way that actually exists

I often save pics that I run across that I like.  I will attach them to business and personal email at times. I did not take the pic below either but here is a link if you like what the French Alps have to offer:

In the good ole USA. I did not take this one either but one I saved a while back

The Grand Tetons.  There is dispute about who named them originally but French trappers are one group that called them "Les Troi Tetons", in English that is "The Three Teats"     Curiously, that land was available and not yet exploited when John D Rockerfaller, Jr acquired it in 1949 and gifted it to form The Grand Tetons National Park, the big teats.

Here’s a two-fer for ya, from the Canadian Rockies.

We just had a huge (for us) dump of almost a foot at valley bottom this morning. It’s one of those days that makes me wish I had an actual camera. Also kinda wishing I called in sick and went skiing. It’s been real quiet around the shop because every single piece of equipment is out working so I wouldn’t have been missed. But I did get the opportunity to lay some fresh tracks down the highway coming back north after a field trip so that was alright I guess.

I’ll try to get you some from up at the hill tomorrow.

Awesome.  The garage has a better view that most of the world.  Ever see moose in the roads? Thanks for the post.

Yeah, I’ve seen them near the bridge I took that first pic from occasionally. Not long ago this was in the local paper. 937187DD-91AF-4DAC-B55D-2B10E8DDCFA8.jpeg.807107c0042970e6a70ed31478c5f516.jpeg

Apparently there was one moose that got mad if you tried to move away once it started licking your car, and actually stomped a few vehicles, prompting the warning. They’re along the road there year-round. I might even have my own photos... somewhere.

Please post if you find those pics. The US National Park Service has described Moose as "majestic and silly" looking at the same. Gotta love that.
