Hey guys.

I just got news earlier today that my friend Joe, who I worked with at the dealership from 1980 til 1992 and has continued to be like a little brother to me, is in ICU at a Phoenix hospital. He nearly died in his sleep this morning. We don't know how this will pan out. 

Joe is the guy who kept "the book" for many years, updated it, and presented it to me in recent years for my Tips.

Please pray for his complete recovery.

He went a while without breathing and with no heart beat. Nobody knows how long. Hopefully there's no brain damage.

Unfortunately he isn't gonna make it. 

I spoke to his oldest son this morning and they're gonna turn off life support.

I feel blessed that Joe and his son stopped by just last week for a visit. Great memories there.

The amazing thing is that when these life events happen, we as people come together to remember all the good times we had, rather than the small problems life brings us.  Events like this remind me to TRY be kinder to the other people in my life.
