Automan2164 Posted January 8, 2012 Posted January 8, 2012 Stated to clean out the garage today, and it's getting ever more apparent that I have an MJ problem. I can honestly say that if one of you were to have driven by, I'd have been kidnapped, dropped into a river, and my yard would be picked bare... The real problem is that I am only 1/3 of the way through the stuff... There's waaaaayyyy more I didn't pull out of the attic or shed... Ugh. I really need to knock it off for a bit. Rob
86customanche Posted January 8, 2012 Posted January 8, 2012 wow. almost enough to build a truck from scratch.
500 MJ Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 At least you are to the stage that you are freely admitting your problem... :D
Automan2164 Posted January 9, 2012 Author Posted January 9, 2012 At least you are to the stage that you are freely admitting your problem... :D The real problem is that the attic has about that much still in it, another load in the garage, and the shed full 'o' crap. You know I have about 12 gauge clusters? Rob
Pete M Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 only problem I see is not enough storage/display space. ever thought about hanging some of that on your basement walls?
neohic Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 At least you are to the stage that you are freely admitting your problem... :D That's the first step...
Dirteatr717 Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 HOLY! I think you need another door panel  how does your wife feel about your "problem" ? Hahah
Automan2164 Posted January 9, 2012 Author Posted January 9, 2012 ...how does your wife feel about your "problem" ? Hahah Think about that question, and you'll have your response. Rob

Comanche County Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 Not a problem at all! If anyone confronts you, just deny the facts and make counter-accusations! Its a method of problem avoidance alcoholics have been using for centuries and it works, I use it all the time. :wrench:
camjeep3 Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 ill take some of those door panels of your hands :brows:
jimoshel Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 Quite frankly the only problem I see is the garage is to small.

HOrnbrod Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 Hope the producers of the various compulsive hoarding TV shows don't see this post. They'll be knocking on your door trying to sign you up for a new episode. :rotf:

yellaheep Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 I'm right there with ya Rob. I pay $200/month for a 24'x40' fenced storage lot. In that lot, I have 2 palate racks full of body parts, wheels, etc. Then I have an '88 Ford 16' U-haul van with the back packed full of interior parts, mechanical parts, steering columns, seats, electrical, trim...... UNDER the van I have bumpers, cross members, end caps..... and the rest of the lot is used to park my project vehicles and an 8' Chevy 1-ton truck bed trailer with a lift crane on it where I keep axles, transmissions and engines....... extra tires/wheels get slid under anything parked inside the lot....... And of course, the garage is littered with XJ/MJ parts as is the 9'x9' shed out back and a large shelving unit that holds stacks of XJ/MJ glass...... Yeah, it's a silly sickness.
