  1. I've got the D30 with chromoly shafts, 4.88s, Detroit Locker and a 3/8" steel diff cover, I haven't had problems yet running 33's *knock on wood* I want to run 35's but I'm not going any bigger than that,

    Gauge cluster for old interior?
  12. I like KM2's myself, our Suburban has the Wrangler MT/R's and my dads XJ had super swampers, i like the km2s the most and will be purchasing another set.
  13. jeep is replaceable, you are not, i'm glad you're safe.
  14. Yeah, i was just wanting to purchase the FelPro ones through Rockauto which are listed for the later years.
  15. sent the '93 (7170) head off to machine shop yesterday so that's what i'll be using. anyone know if the head bolts that are sold for a 96-01 will work for sure?? almost impossible to find a set for older HOs.
  16. i'm fairly certain.. not 100% that I have the one pre-0331.
  17. Am I going to run into any issues rebuilding my '93 block and head with a '99 rebuild kit and swapping everything (and yes I mean everything) from my '99 Cherokee?? I'm just curious if I should use the '99 head or the '93 head with the '93 block, I heard the '93 head has better flow because the '99 had to restrict it for emissions. Both motors are 4.0 HOs Thanks.
  18. I personally have not ordered a headliner yet because my truck won't be drivable again for a good six months or so and I just don't have the money, but when I do I will definitely be going through this vendor! I think it is very honorable that he has admitted his mistakes and offered solutions. Very cool.
  19. I'm gonna be there but not w/ my MJ.
  20. Well that gives me some more options then :) thanks.
  21. I figured that if I were to do a color change, the remaining black paint would stick out like a sore thumb. Today I pulled the valve cover, intake and exhaust manifold off, got my rockers and pushrods out and unbolted the head. Pulling off the head next time i get the chance to work on it, so far everything looks alright, not a lot of sludge or anything.
  22. Really want to paint the truck this year. Don't know how to go about it with the cage on there, because I can't remove the bed to paint the area between the cab and front of the bed. i'd really like to bedline the cage, and paint the truck flat black but I think it will be a pain to mask. Anybody got any ideas to make it easier?
