Its a decent project but not a bad as everyone instantly assumes. Take pictures and label things as you go and take notes of silly things you aren't sure you will remember.

Unless you can repair it in the truck that will require the entire dash to come out. Probably easiest to just source a different dash and swap.

Any chance you could get stone measurements for where your you're mirrors mount? And maybe a pic or two of where the interior door brace mounts? I have a set of tow mirrors in want to mount but haven't found good reference photos.

So is the security zip tie a must have with this mod? I was just gonna use one of those plastic clipy things off the hot dog buns.....

My springs were the "comanche club special" I believe they were 3.5" over stock with the metric tonne capacity. I think they are 5 leaf. I am running 31" x 10.50/15 general grabber atx. Pretty happy with the setup so far.

Spray some water on it. Too hot. Needs cooled.....

I have GS military wraps with 3" built in. Spring under. I went 4.5" re coils and the truck sits pretty much level so far. I have about 2000 miles in them and no major settling yet. I have loaded them enough to squat the rear of the truck. They will squat about 1-2" and then hold really well with a load. Overall in am really happy with them. Might swap the fronts for a 3.5" just to gain some rake when empty and help it hold a load closer to level. Here is the closest comparison I have to loaded and unloaded.
