  1. I would have the body shop coat coat them. Make sure they don't bake them though. This made one set of mine bubble. The clear really makes them look good and a year later the set on my truck still look great.

    Tool Talk

I have the gear wrench ratchets also and love them.
  3. I had j nuts and bolts in mine before I bought clips. I actually may end up with something like that again. But if not I know I will break one or two somehow.
  4. Off a dealers shelf. There are still a few out there. The freight is the major killer.
  5. I have the ones in my truck and a couple other sets that have been redone. I did get these today.
  6. Love the paint color. I really like the hood scoop it fits the truck. And those tail lights are a thing of beauty. Great build.
  7. I have seen this picture before and it is beautiful!!!
  8. Looking good!
  9. I have had good luck with the ACDelco pigtails. The PDF below is a great reference. Pigtails.pdf
  10. I'm not real sure. If I was guessing I would think the output speed sensor would be the culprit.
  11. After looking up these sensor I remember selling a ton of the output speed sensor in the early 2000's. They were popular enough we kept them in a drawer at the back counter.
  12. There is an input and output speed sensor in the transmission. There is also a speed sensor in the transfer case. The transfer case should run the speedometer.
  13. The VIN is a 6 so it is an Eliminator.
  14. I went with the ZJ steering linkage in Moog from Rock Auto and an very happy with it. It's a cheap upgrade and the originals don't like to come apart.
  15. Welcome to the club.

    Beer

I am a 100% plain old light beer guy. I will drink most but if I have a choice it goes. PBR light Bud light Bush Light Coors Light Then it doesn't matter but it better be COLD.
  17. This is why this forum is amazing!! Multiple posts with multiple opinions. In the end it's your truck. Stock is stock there is no way around that. One you change any option it's not stock. In the end do what makes you happy. I personally am in the keep a perfect one perfect. I am still all for upgrades that makes it more functional. On the other hand if it's already been modified it's a good ahead pass. Still don't believe in chopping it up though. Needs and bolts are easy to swap back out if you ever want to. I personally love mine exactly how it is. I DD every day no matter what the weather is.It's mine I built what I wanted. It's not really pretty but it's what's under the surface that counts. Some day I will get everything done I want to. Then I see myself getting a 2wd to keep nice and only driving on nice days. You can't only have 1 Jeep!!
  18. I might try it if I wore one more than a couple times a year. I've lived in Iowa my whole life and consider 50 warm enough for shorts and a t shirt. Not really a need for a hoodie.
  19. You do amazing work!!!
  20. I'm definitely a 3X kinda guy. I love the shirts I believe I now have one for each day off the week.
  21. Best looking one by far!!
  22. Sixth digit is a 6. It was an Eliminator when it started life.
