  1. Wow! Such small, humble beginnings!
  2. The issue with identifying lots of these cars when they are very similar in year and the same parent company, is that you pretty much need to ID them by their moldings.
  3. Hey, I should've grown up in the 50s too. It also helps to work at a dealership sorting parts and looking at cars like these day in and day out.
  4. Prior to Jeeps, old cars were (and they still are) my thing.
  5. Ya know, those actually aren’t bad. I’d call them average, maybe even better than some.
  6. Me three! I will probably get the BadDadFab hidden winch and use the OEM bumper I have with the little bumperettes on them. Chrome header panel trim with a 10 slit grill, green and pewter paint with pewter flares, and maybe a 4.6 stroker. I just want to have a stroker, that is the only reason for the last part.
  7. Nope. This truck build was definitely inspired by @eaglescout526
  8. I’m thinking so too. If my blue truck didn’t have the blue interior, it would’ve been green. Right now it has a 3” AAL. I will either leave that or maybe go up to 4.5”. Time will tell.
  9. I love stripes! But you already knew that
  10. Is it bad that I want to see a picture?
  11. I’m not sure yet. Maybe do a restoration with many factory accessories. I’m not sure yet, but I want to do a dark greeen/pewter (maybe just tan or silver) two tone.
  12. It’s not the rusty one, that was just the parts truck. This is a GA truck with an AZ bed. The only rust is in the floors.
  13. Unexpected change of plans-it’s looking like I’m going to build this truck.
  14. Time will tell, time will tell. It’s going to be more of an OEM restoration.
  15. Yup, green. Just going to be a shortbed because I have a nice shortbed our in the front yard.
  16. That’s going in my to-be green truck.
  17. ‘Tis true folks, that said, stay tuned for my next MJ build.
  18. I could be wrong, but I don’t think that you could get painted flares from the factory on a Sportruck. That said, it wouldn’t have been that hard to swap them on.
  19. I was working on it, but I have gotten way busy with other things. I'm hoping I can make it happen, I'm still just not sure how yet.
  20. Up to $7,000 with 1 day to go. I've got to ask, did it hit your reserve? I would guess, based on the condition, that your reserve was around this price.
  21. Just use cruiser's website or pick up a Haynes manual at your local parts store
  22. I'm not jealous, you're jealous!
  23. Ok, so its 15 grand. You will have a ton of money in rebuilding the motor (because you might was well build it while you are in there), but at the end of the day, it probably isn't going to be worth a ton with the NOM.
