The reason I’m suggesting removing the handle is in case the rods or even the tailgate shell if binding up on it and preventing it from moving.

I meant remove the handle when I said pull the handle. What I should have said was remove the handle and try actuating the levers from the inside.

@ghetdjc320 separated the inner and outer tailgate pieces. I’d try pulling the handle and just actuating the levers inside the gate if you can.

I used ACC as they are the only ones that make it. I wanted the vinyl for the same reason you do and I am considering replacing it with carpet because I do not like it at all.

I have the chrome upper and bottom grill peice if you want them I’ll need to see what the local JY has and let you know from there.

Has anyone tried the Crown or Omix-ada reproduction grilles they make for these? Specifically the 10 slot? The price seems fair, but I don’t know if I should buy these reproductions or if I should find some OEM pieces. I think my local JY has some OEM ones, but I don’t know what condition they are in.

I have a reproduction one in mine. It SUCKS!!! The fitment is garbage. I have several hours over the last 2 years trying to get it to fit right and it still isn’t even close.

I don't know about that, I think the reproducer could sell a few hundred, at least. I'm sure plenty of people would want these body kits, myself included, for a future build.

My truck has full coverage and is about $30/month, but we also have 5 vehicles on the same policy.

If it’s in Iowa, it would be sweet if @Dzimm or @JMO413 would get it, but I’m sure they are both busy and don’t need more MJs.

This car had the rear end raised, probably to fit bigger tires last time it was on the road. This is what they did, from the rear end to the bottom of the spring. Glad I saw this after doing burnout

More metal work. We are close to being able to get bedsides for it, then it will all come apart to get sandblasted.
