The stockpile of parts to install is growing. I have the sensors need to do my full cluster swap, a Mopar rear main seal in its way, along with a set of @Dzimm’s tailgate bumpers. Now I just need time to install them.

We are planning to go, but just not 100% sure yet as we aren’t sure what Jeeps we would have ready, except for mine.

I’m a little farther west than you bud. But we aren’t 100% sure that we are going yet either.

It’s unique alright. I’m sure it wasn’t very efficient, which is why it was replaced. It was probably a pretty simple system though. This is another odd AMC quirk that I did not know about.

It’s somewhere in between, but no holes, which constitutes it as rust free where we are. I’m kicking around the thought of driving down your way when school is out to hit some JYs for parts for this thing. He does have the rear bumper on the orange truck, and it’s fixable, but I don’t know if it’s worth fixing. To kill vehicles maybe.

Well, he was able to pick up a straight and solid tailgate for it. It cost $200, but it was cheaper and easier than fixing his orange one.

This truck is too funny. I love hearing the “Is that your pretty blue truck that parks in the same spot [of the school parking lot] every day? My dad really likes that truck!” Comments like these make building these trucks worth it.

He says it was. It was white originally. 4 cylinder auto is pretty uncommon

Interesting. I always assumed that the floor shifter would have been standard equipment, but you could delete it for a credit and get the column shift.

I love to see some up close pics of how the rear suspension works.

I saw this and I've gotta say: I dig the concept. Like everything, I would change a few things about it, but overall, I think this is super cool!
