  1. The will make a huge difference. I have a truck with tow mirrors and one without. The mirror glass is about twice the size and having it sticking out farther gives you a much better viewing range.
  2. The large on piece windows would be nice...
  3. We have a red passenger side fender in WI if you need one. I can check with my parents to see if they’d sell it.
  4. It’s really not that bad if you can cut the section out of an XJ. Then you just have to cut and weld.
  5. Thank you. We plan on doing a similar dual running board setup to that white truck. If you look closely at the white truck, the front wheel opening is larger than the rear due to it having half ton rear fenders. We used half ton front wheel openings to close up the front wheel openings on our truck.
  6. That looks pretty nice. I’m with ya there. But dad wants black so dad is going to paint it black. It should turn out good though.
  7. Door striker area has been fixed.
  8. I know it wasn’t the end that many of us were hoping for, but I couldn’t pass up the opportunity.
  9. We don’t know when it will be ready to paint. It all depends on how busy my dad is with work over the summer. It is going to be black because it is going to be a work truck and black is easy to fix if need be.
  10. New door latches installed. The bedsides should be done soon.
  11. Well, as much as I don’t want to, it is time for me to sell this truck. I have the option to buy my first car (1986 AMC Eagle) back.
  12. I think @Swampy did
  13. Don’t forget—there is no oil in the transmission. Why did you decided to pull the AX-15 for the Tremec? Smoother shifts? Better gearing?

    XJ vs Trailblazer

Trailblazers did come with a 4.3 when they were a trim level on the S10 Blazer. Or maybe they were their own model, but for a year or so, they were based on the S10 chassis.
  15. I love mine from Phoenix Graphix
  16. And I would say this is because these are the people that actually care about the rigs, they aren't just the slap on some lightbars and wheels and tires type of people. Plus most of the modern mechanics are the "get it done as quick as possible" type of people.
  17. But in order to do a 97+ swap, the whole truck needs to be stripped and it is pretty much completely custom from there. Just don’t be surprised if you don’t have $8,000-$10,000 in it before paint.
  18. Get an REM and do @cruiser54’s Renix tips before swapping engines. Odds are, changing the engine won’t fix your issue.
  19. You will have a ton of money in it if you pay someone to do the swap if you want the complete swap done. There are plenty of write ups for DIY though!
  20. Yes it is. I couldn’t NOT take a picture.
  21. I parked next to something pretty cool today...
  22. Did anyone notice it has a 91-96 grille in it, but is an 86 or early 87? That is, unless it’s just weird because it’s out of country.
