AC has nothing to do with the computer. Check out Section 3, Step 6. It sounds fairly straight forward to keep the automatic computer. The other thing to remember, and I often forgot this, is that you are a kid. You don’t have money and you don’t have a ton of time. If you want to get the truck to Moab for the MJ takeover in September, I think you should come up with a list of important things that need to get done first. My list for that would look like this: 1. Make it reliable 2. Winch and bumpers 3. Gears and lockers 4. Lift (AX-15 swap here. Only get driveshafts made once) 5. Wheels and tires 6. Body armor 7. Make the interior more pleasant 8. Make the truck pretty Now if the stock Renix harness has some Cleetus and Bubba cousin-brother hacking into it and your HO harness is good, that would be the only reason I’d swap it.

Oooooo, tilt column. Make sure you hang on to that one. You’re not going to really get any advantage by swapping to the OBD1 HO. Just get an REM.

AW4, Rebuild? Your opinions wanted

What would I do? AX-15 swap it. Realistic answer, though, get it rebuilt. -
I’d be down for a firearms thread. Did you know that you can fit 1 bag of golf clubs and 2 shotguns behind the seat of a bench seat MJ with the seat all the way back?
-
I’d say run it how it is for a while then. Learn how to drive it now, that way you don’t accidentally wreck a new transmission.

I hate to rain on your parade, but the HO cluster is not a plug and play swap in a Renix truck. Bout time you got an AX-15. How many miles does it have? Does the AX-15 go into all of the gears right and work well?
-
Yes I did, even though I told him it was useless.

Colt 45? I can’t read what it says behind COLT. I really want one of those and a Smith and Wesson 1911. For now though, I’m think a Smith and Wesson SD9VE would hold me over.

I love spicy and dark meat. You’re really missing out. Where was the food from?

Well, I sold the less-nice tractor today. I really didn’t need it. It was nice to have when we were doing some projects, but we don’t do a ton of projects where we need two.

I think you will regret selling the XJ. I thought you loved your Subaru?

I’d have to go with a grilled steak. Steak or Seafood?

The orange gate looks good in pictures, let’s just say that.

The wheels will be here in July. She wants to bring this one to the All Breeds Jeep Show with my Comanche.

I wonder if all Swedish trucks were MTs.

The LS and 4L60E are getting cleaned up and the computer is getting sent out to get tuned. He will pull the axles out of the orange truck to swap into the yellow one because they have better gears.
-
Yes they are. I was surprised. Pics comparing height to SOA YJ. The Comanche is next to the garage if you look close.

We figured out the lift issue. Turns out, Metalcloak lifts are x number of inches over a Rubicon lift. Rubicon’s are 1.5” higher than any other JK, so we really got a 5” lift.
-
Beautiful truck! Welcome to the club!

For the 3.5”, you can keep stock ones, you just need to install exhaust spacers. Because this lift clearly isn’t 3.5”, I have no idea for driveshafts. It looks like the front will work once we get the exhaust spacers in.
-
Oh yeah. Perhaps it’s in the future if yours too? That was our first thought, but the part numbers cross reference to the 3.5” lift. This thing is taller than my dad’s SOA YJ on 35s.
