  1. I’m registered! Who else is?
  2. Many body shop supply stores are able to look in their books to find the exact mixing ratios for the factory colors. Ask me how I know.

    Must see car movies

Days of Thunder Talladega Nights Those are funny NASCAR movies. Used Cars is a good one too.
  4. I’m not really worried about saving gas in this truck, even for how I drive it, it gets good mileage.

    Must see car movies

I was gonna say Two Lane Blacktop, Ford Vs Ferrari, and Bullitt. American Graffiti
  6. I’d apply for a title and build it as a summer driver. It looks pretty solid for a northern truck. About as nice as mine was when I started with it.
  7. Yes!!!
  8. Update: Right now, I’m averaging ~16 mpg with 4 hole injectors and the new motor. It seems to me that there is too much fuel and not enough air sometimes, so I am looking at getting a bored throttle body in the future.
  9. Mmm, for Comanche fan, how about a pic of a regular old mechanical fan off of a 4.0. I do like where JMO is going, but maybe have the gold coin be the top and the bronze be the second highest.
  10. @Jesse J, need another?
  11. Water, thanks. 9mm or .40 cal?
  12. Happy 4th, CC!
  13. Mickey Thompson’s are classics. They didn’t stick around by being the 2nd best tire.
  14. Thank you. It’s getting there. Hopefully it will be driveable by the end of the summer.
  15. I was surprised how nice it was!
  16. And this car is dang good at them!
  17. We had to move the car today, so I had to redeem myself with a breed burnout. Sound up and feast your eyes.
  18. They are a lot cheaper and easier to fix than MJs! Not quite as cool though…
  19. That is another great option!
  20. After washing:
  21. I was up at the neighbor’s the other day when they said that that had an old Bolens up on the hill that they wanted to get rid of. We walked up there and took a look at it and told me I could have it if I wanted it. So, I did the right thing and acquired another project. It’s in surprisingly good shape, really. I think this one is going to be the tractor for mowing around the house. I was told it ran when parked and that it needs a PTO clutch. This tractor does not have a hydrostatic, but I’d rather a 4 speed. It is considered a Medium Frame, which is larger than my other Bolens, despite this one having 1 fewer horsepower. The only things I’ve done at this point is free up the lift arm and pressure wash it. Progress will pick up after the Eagle is done and the MJ is ready for the All Breeds Jeep Show.
  22. Progress on the bed. We will put a piece of exhaust tubing along the sides to simulate how the original bedsides had the curl in them. It will also get stake pockets. Those of you familiar with 47-54 GM trucks will recognize that these are actually 54+ style bedsides, the top is perpendicular to the bedsides, instead of at a 45 degree angle. This was done so that the truck could have a tonneau cover on it.
  23. Motor mounts are burned in!
  24. A guy was thinking: “I’d bet an LJ and a PT Cruiser have a similar wheelbase”. After doing some googling:
