I’ll get a thread up about them in the pub sometime soon.

Today we used the truck to move some of the generator lights to our local baseball field for the Army Golden Knights nighttime jump. Very cool experience.
-
Yeah, but those ones sucked. The 88 and earlier are much better.
-
You should post up some pictures of the truck! Also, be sure to add yourself to the original owners thread in the pub.

Very nice truck! The one thing that I think you may come to dislike about the truck is going to be the bed. I feel that you might dislike how short the bed is and you may prefer using the MJ for hauling stuff in the bed. We have a friend who bought one of these when they were knew in 2014 (I think) and I haven't heard any complaints from him.

I put an AAL in my truck. No regrets. It helped towing and hauling tremendously and made the rear end feel more planted. It did hurt flex a little bit though, but it is still really good for a 30 year old truck on leaf springs.

For reliable power, you can’t go wrong with modern, I’ll give ya that.

Don’t get me wrong, I really like the late model engine swaps, but I think a 426 Hemi would be even cooler in that.
-
Oh I would have a hard time giving up on this truck. For my purposes, it is perfect.

Ummm, don’t you have a little truck that could do this kind of thing? -
Making good progress!

In my truck, I can hear the fuel pump over the engine at idle.

I would imagine it’s Eastwood Weld Through Primer. Weld through primer is good stuff. I 100% recommend it.

Wow. You better hope she doesn’t see this post -
Took the truck for a 30 minute town, country, and interstate drive today. It stayed pretty happy and ran at about 195 (I’d estimate from looking at the temp gauge) tue whole time with the AC on max. Outside temp was around 90 and super humid.

Maybe @eaglescout526 could help you locate a new Mopar one.

Next major part acquired: It is a piece of 1” thick aluminum. We are going to use it to make ball joint spacers to lift the front end of the car up so the tires won’t rub and so it will sit close to level with the rear. Right after getting back from PA, I used it to move a trailer full of rocks. It never squatted and towed it around the yard super well.

New radiator in and we are ready for the road. We let the truck idle for probably 15 minutes and turned on the AC for a few of those minutes, it never crossed 210. I also got my collector plate. In WI, the collector plate numbers are way over 200,000 at this point, but I got number 45242 from my grandma.

I love my silver Sportruck graphics. They break up the body nicely and make it look wildly different from your run of the mill Rangers and Tacomas.

Mine is 32. Almost twice as old as I am. And I wouldn’t have it any other way.
