    You should be fine then. Most engines make more oil pressure cold than they do warm. What did the oil pressure look like before you did the work on it? What were outside temps then? I'd let the truck warm up for 5 minutes and then check the oil pressure. Also, you may want to add a signature with details about your truck. There is a video posted in the issues/ideas/testing section of the forum.

    Is the engine warm or cold when making that much oil pressure? If that is on a cold start, I wouldn't be concerned.

    Mistakes happen, I’m sure most of us have all had some stupid mistake that we’ve done while working on our MJs. On the bright side, you may be able to find a really nice set cheap since those wheels aren’t super desirable.

    So, it looks like the wheel arches are getting rusty, the cab corners are getting rusty, the rockers are getting rusty, the lower half is bedlined (with what looks like a crappy roll on job), it’s a 4cyl truck with a D35, and they still want almost $11000 for it?!? It makes you wonder what they are smoking.

    Well, she is now put away for the winter. Not after some work though. About 90 miles, 45 towing the trailer with the engine in it, the other 45 with just the cherry picker and the trailer. I only used about a quarter of a tank. I figure I had close to 2000 lbs behind/in the truck.

    I have considered putting it in a larger tractor, but that is TBD. I also think it would be cool to build a street freak out of a 58-60 Rambler American Indeed it is! Especially at the price I got it for.

    A killer deal for this 348 turned up on FB marketplace the other day. It was too good of a deal to pass up, so I ended up buying it. It is super complete, has no cracks, and turns over freely. The first thing I am going to do is make sure we can get it to run. After that, I’m not sure what the plan is. The numbers on the motor come back to the engine being a 58 (built 1/24/1958), with 250 horsepower, a 4bbl carb, and a Powerglide automatic.

    Indeed it does, and I’m sure some of those wheels wouldn’t fit, but if he just needed a set of rollers at one point, there are lots of good options out there.

    Bolt pattern will be 5x4.5. Same as an XJ, KJ, YJ, TJ, Ford Ranger, Explorer, Explorer Sport Trac, Mustang, Crown Vic, etc. plenty of options out there.

    Poor thing Bucket seats, drop in bedliner, and tow mirrors though. Plus the normal MJ pieces, it might be worth pulling some parts from.
