  1. Yes they do! It absolutely is! It’s an extra 7.5’ fake tree that we had at home.
  2. I went with the Walker setup from RA for my MJ. It’s quiet, but has a good sound.
  3. It drives! Now I just need my rear tires to arrive, I need to change the front and rear tires, rebuilt the fuel pump, swap the throttle cable, put the hood back on, and get a new battery. It’s close!
  4. Kinda MJ related, kinda not. Come spring, I am going to be rehearing my Eagle. It has a D30 front. I have read conflicting information on where the carrier break is on a D30. I have read that there is one carrier for 2.35 gears, one for 2.63 to 3.54 gears (the one I have) and one for 3.73 and up. I have also read that there isn’t another carrier—there is just the 2.35 and the 2.73+ carrier. Does anyone know which is the case? Disclaimer—I know regrading a D30 sounds like a waste, but because the Eagle is IFS, I can’t just install and XJ axle. Now for my locker question. I know that the G80 isn’t the best locker, but for my application it would be all that I need (the car will see some snow and dirt roads, nothing too crazy). Does anyone have any experience with the Volvo D30 G80 locker in their front D30? The only info I have found is that it can be done. Do I need the whole carrier out of the Volvo? Thanks all!
  5. Agreed, I wish I knew of a loca one that I could test fit. A tri-power would be cool too.
  6. If I were you, I would look at doing the following: 1. Source a non-CAD D30 out of an XJ with a 4 cyl (93-00 maybe? I need to be corrected on that). That will get you 4.10 gears and gets rid of the crappy CAD system. 2. There are 2 ways you could go with this. 2.1 Source an 8.25 out of the same XJ, if it had an 8.25. 2.2 Find a KJ Liberty with with 4.10 gears. This way will give you rear discs. Note for 2—you will need to weld spring perches on either way. 3. Find your AX-5/231 or your AX-15/231/Dakota bellhousing. You will be able to use the stock XJ front driveshaft, but, as you know, your rear will have to be shortened.
  7. They definitely do!
  8. Hmmmmmm, the intake and carbs are on loan from a friend. He is thinking up a price for them now.
  9. Nice……Mopar battery in a Ford
  10. I’ve always been told that the rear axle needs to be within 2.5 degrees of the crankshaft. That would also be within 2.5 degrees of perpendicular to the end of the tail shaft of your transfer case.
  11. @eaglescout526 will probably know the answer to this.
  12. Before I go the aftermarket route on chrome front end pieces, I wanted to check here and see if anyone has a chrome 10 slot grille, headlight bezels, and the header panel trim for a Renix era truck. I know that the upper and lower header panel trim pieces are not reproduced, so at the very least, I will need a set of those pieces.
  13. Does anyone have any experience with this front bumper kit from Crown? I would assume that the metal is probably a little thinner than stock, but that’s better than bent or rusty, IMHO. Plus, I like the little bumper guards. https://www.jegs.com/i/Crown-Automotive/077/52000177K/10002/-1
  14. Someone NEEDS to get that 21 slot grille!
  15. Moving back to the mainland or are you staying out in the ocean?
  16. Good work! That think looks stout! Way more than you need for a 4.0, perfect.
  17. These cars actually do have an AMC35 under them, it’s nearly identical to a D35 though.
  18. I do like it. That is a goal for the car for next summer right there. I have really considered getting a grille guard though because I really don’t want anything to happen to the front of this car.
  19. @carolinajeepman, did you ever get chrome over black ones figured out?

Oh I wasn’t being difficult, I was just curious. I believe in some years, even the passenger side mirror was optional too, but someone else would have to confirm that.

If it’s a 4cyl 4 speed, it should have come with 3.55 gears. Does it have power steering? I know that was an option on these trucks, believe it or not.
