  1. The tacked panel does not get in the way of the air saw. You want it so the blade is riding right next to it, this leaves a little gap for the weld to penetrate. You could go cut, tack, cut, tack, but you must make sure that you can get the cut piece out. I’d recommend cutting the tacks off once you have the trimming done in order to get the trimmed metal out.
  2. I’d buy the Key Parts patches. Thread on rust repair: You can also check out my build thread for more rust repair info. Since bodywork and paint will be next:
  3. Thanks guys! I have not heard anything about it not taking standard D30 gears. I’ll double check though.
  4. Is there a good place that I should buy low pinion D30 gears from? I’ve heard of a few okay places, but I wanted to see if there is a solid consensus that I have just missed. Or any places to stay away from? Same with brand, any good or particularly bad brands? Note: Before I hear it for gearing a low pinion axle, I should note that this is for the Eagle, which had a low pinion IFS.
  5. I'd love to see the supercharged Renix 4.0. Would you keep the Renix system if you did?
  6. Wow, not what I was expecting. Glad you still have the other one, but does this change that trucks plans?
  7. Have any of those trucks been found?
  8. Found some from 500 MJ

Someone had fun with the spray bomb.
  10. Because 10 slots are cooler.
  11. I have heard that you could get a Ranger with 4.56s in an 8.8, but I’ve never seen one. You may want to look at an 8.8 out of an Explorer Sport-Trac. They are about the same width as your current MJ rear axle (a regular Explorer 8.8 is over 1” narrower, IIRC) and they came with either 3.73s or 4.10s. They did have drum brakes though.

    Well, damn....

I had it here a couple of weeks ago. I lost my sense of taste and smell, still don’t have it back. The rest of my family had it too. For us, it felt like a head cold. No shot for us either, we know more people who have had it that have the shot and boosters than those who don’t. I will add though, the shot definitely does have its place.
  13. Can you post up some pics when you have time? That would help us tell you what more should be pulled.
  14. Thank you for getting them sent out so quick!
  15. Thank you! Your truck will look great with one too!
  16. The Comanche got part of its birthday present installed. A chrome 10 slot grille and complete front end. The bumper install will come in the spring. Sorry about the poor lighting.
  17. Nice! Do the R/Ts have the 5.7 or the 6.4?
  18. IIRC, the 97+ clutch/brake pedal is different from the 96- assembly.
  19. I'm with Goose on this one. I would run the SC airdam on the SC as well. I am glad that you finally got the title and plates too.
  20. It certainly is! Not a lotta room for a lotta ponies, but it looks like it all is fitting so far!
  21. Good to see that progress is being made.
  22. But difficult to see when laying it on. Regardless of color, I would avoid doing a bedliner. It makes it really difficult should one want shiny paint in the future, it adds more weight, and most will fade. Especially if your truck is not going to be a wheeler.
  23. The rust on the bottom outside of the gate that you showed is not just surface rust. That is rotting from the inside out. You will have to cut out and replace that metal.
  24. That is true for me too. I ordered Jeep parts on the 31st though.
  25. @ghetdjc320, a D44. Probably more gear and money than you want though.
