  15. It bugs me every time these guys point something out that has info about it but they don’t elaborate on it. Like the grill. They mentioned the seven slot grill on post ‘97 jeeps. But the son said something about the eight slot being wacky and an unknown design during that period. I don't know, I feel if you are gonna own something as unique like a Comanche, at least get to know it and how special it is before taking pot shots at knowledge. I wonder if Chrysler is behind these videos.
  16. Exactly. I feel if they got a decent running 86 with the 2.8L they probably would’ve paid to have that rebuilt too.
  17. Hasn’t anyone on here done an AX-15 swap for a lot less than rebuilding a BA10/5?
  18. Is it rubbing on the outer drum ring? I have the same issue and I’ve just did my best to force the cable back far enough to where the rubber hooks on that guide
  19. Damn. I want to help but my computer is down and reading everything on the phone is not fun. As soon as I get my computer back up I’ll get right on it if we have not finished. (PS, don’t install preview build 1903 if you have windows insider)
  20. I did this with my blue cluster. I turned the pot dial all the way to the left for four cylinder after installing it and fiddling with it to see where the right RPM was. I thought I would’ve needed a reference tach at first but after I got my REM the tach was correct to what the REM was saying. + or - 100 RPM. All the way to the right is for 8 cylinders.
  21. Just my two cents; when I installed a new clutch after the trans blew, I decided to replace the throw out bearing. For two weeks I had issues shifting and had to use rev match to shift. After having the tranny out for the third time I thought about the throw out bearing and sure enough it was not seated far enough back. The clutch plate sat in there just fine but there wasn’t enough room for the pressure plate to push on the clutch to stop it.
  22. Aww darn. I missed a chance for a great pun. Too excited at the time. But it very much is a trip back.
  23. As stated here is before and after on the carpet. P.S. It looks way better in the cab! Before: After: 30 years of dirt and other crap came out of this carpet. I honestly contemplated just buying a new carpet kit after spending about and hour and a half pressure washing it.
  24. And American Motors said: LET THERE BE LIGHT!! Was not too bad to install. I got this done in about thirty minutes with a slight screw up. This only happened because I took the carpet out to pressure wash it. It is still dirty but a lot better. And yes there will be before and after pictures on that. This was done around 17:03 and yes I waited till it got darker just for that picture. lol.
