  1. Meh, I would not buy a new switch unless you really really needed to.
  2. Well, I ought to follow up and the results are not terrible but not great The defrost switch came out as the worst, the rear wipers came out acceptable From left to right: Defrost, both rear wipers and NOS fog light. Used plastic restore. Not great but decent. I wouldn't pick up a bottle unless the other options don't do well.
  3. Well I know there is new switches available but I’ve had some luck using some plastic restore that is used for auto detail on sunfaded plastics, but I never tried such on one of the switches. I think I have a couple and I can see how well they come out this afternoon when I return home.
  4. No your truck is TBI. I remembered a picture of your truck from a wanted post about the 2.5Litre steering That being said I am interested in the throttle body assembly.
  5. Thanks Jeep Driver. I actually have been really avoiding the drilling route for said reason about the fuel tubes. I think I'm gonna go for the Dremel route and just tap a size up if I cannot find a screw that will fit. In the mean time she runs and drives fine, so its a no rush deal. I do appreciate the how to and what not to do Shame you had to do that to a NOS body, what luck.
  6. I just might try the dremel idea! Did not think of that!
  7. So yesterday I went to replace my injector O-rings and upon replacement of injector and it retainer this happened: All I really have to say is this sucks! I did try a few ideas to remove the broken screw but clearly got no where. If anyone has an idea on how to remove such I would love to be enlightened. If not I plan to hopefully source a used throttle body. On the brighter side Little Red does still run and drive with one broken retainer screw and replacing the O-rings improved throttle and driving response. It's not imperative to fix, just very very annoying to know this happened and currently sits like this.
  8. Has the O2 been replaced or tested? Sounds like it runs fine in open loop but when it warms up and goes into closed loop, it sounds like it does not want to do what it should. Has the fuel pump ever been replaced or tested as well?
  9. Put the handle in a bucket of vinegar and wire brush the crud off. I did that and it worked great.
  10. That truck is fricken awesome!! Neat little time capsule.
  11. You're welcome. Part#53000056AB. Chrysler still has a lot on hand. If you want to go that route
  12. The console should not matter which vehicle it is from, but it looks like you are missing the boot retainer that keeps the boot and console together.
  13. Thanks! I felt that the air box was a little too black and needed more silver to it. I recommend doing it, quick and easy.
  14. So I did a thing and that thing is this: and that resulted into this: I like it. Course there is only four of them to see but I did paint all six.
  15. I feel if Steven Spielberg put an MJ into the First Jurassic Park, it would most likely look like that! Maybe with a sport bar too. Looks great!
  16. I agree, it is a great find. Shame the owner spray painted over the factory color.
  17. Have you tested the fuel pump our of the tank at all? Or has it been replaced recently?
  18. Welcome. This manual is from '87, noid lights probably did not exist back then and so an ordinary test lamp was used. Then again it could be the same idea. ive never used or heard of a noid light till now. Crap shoot. Did you try a new relay by any chance?
  19. Chrysler calls the CPS the Speed Sensor. Give these a shot
  20. I have a crown that I've been using for a year and its doing great. that being said, I do agree with Jeep Driver. Most CPS are crap out of the box since the French company Siemens is not making them anymore to my knowledge. But he is getting spark and right now its not the CPS but it sounds like a fuel delivery issue he is having.
  21. Commandtrac is the type of Four Wheel Drive system it has.
  22. I just replaced all of the bushings on my suspension and I got a nice smooth ride out of it. Don’t go polyurethane if the truck is your daily....unless you like a good massage on the road. I recommend replacing the bushing that sits on top of the coil springs if it has never been replaced in its lifetime. That’s my suggestion.
  23. That Wagoneer just looks awesome! Even in its current state! Nonetheless it is cool from the grill to the back "Wagoneer" nameplate above the license plate mount. Does it have the system sentry that tells you about all your fluids?
