  1. As stated here is before and after on the carpet. P.S. It looks way better in the cab! Before: After: 30 years of dirt and other crap came out of this carpet. I honestly contemplated just buying a new carpet kit after spending about and hour and a half pressure washing it.
  2. And American Motors said: LET THERE BE LIGHT!! Was not too bad to install. I got this done in about thirty minutes with a slight screw up. This only happened because I took the carpet out to pressure wash it. It is still dirty but a lot better. And yes there will be before and after pictures on that. This was done around 17:03 and yes I waited till it got darker just for that picture. lol.
  3. For anyone who is curious and to preserve Comanche history, here is the instructions I had “scanned” for all to see. AMC Jeep Comanche Running Boards Instructions.pdf
  4. I believe it is, I think that plate was last registered in 06 but I’m almost certain that the sticker under that says ‘97. I’ll have to look when I return home.
  5. It’s the Arizona veteran plate. Well what’s left of it. It was originally on my truck when my grandfather owned it and I’ve since hung onto it
  6. Figure I ought to post what I have so far,
  7. And she is done! I love em. I almost need a roll bar instead of a bed rug in the back. But this is just fine
  8. Hell yeah! The running boards are from that eBay listing. I actually couldn’t believe no one else bid on them. And funny enough about the mud flaps is I was looking for a how to install them and ran into the part number on here. So I plugged the number into Chrysler and one dealer had the old number.
  9. Almost done. I like them. The remind me and some of the techs of that end cap to a roof. And another fine NOS addition:
  10. Honestly. I saw it twice. I went in expecting it to be meh and came out with meh. I’ll probably get some protest but I felt the movie was slapped together and got called a marvel film.
  11. Making some great progress for the kit not having any of the bolts and removing stubborn fender bolts. More to come.
  12. A teaser. Hopefully these will be installed today. If not sometime this week.
  13. I have an Alaska one. I got it from a souvenir shop when I went up there a almost a decade ago for a high adventure camp I did with select members from my troop.
  14. Wow that's in nice shape for being 100 years old. I wish my Arizona plate from '43 was in that kind of shape.
  15. Ill take a West Virginia off ya. Which AZ plate would you like? The top is from the 2000's before the printed plates and the red is the 80's-90's. I'm partial to the red plate but I have three of them. Orrrr I could trade both for a WV and a VA.
  16. Want a Arizona plate?
  17. Well I do see two Motorola chips and a Texas Instruments chip but I can't see their numbers.
  18. Most everyone here is using factory recommended 195*
  19. Learning about the atrocity that Facebook is makes me glad I abandoned it many moons ago. As long as we have our little niche community with none of those guys on Facebook, I say we are doing just fine.
  20. Finding AC parts for the 2.5Litre Renix system is getting scarce. I’m in the same boat as you for a complete set up. But welcome to the club!
  21. You and me both. I’ve been trying to come up with an idea for a while without sourcing a lower dash plate.
  22. Should we tell them how rare that bumper is?
  23. Heck Yeah! Looks great! I may or may not have developed an addiction calling dealers on old parts like such to purchase.
