Depends on the tire size and your end goal. I am swapping in 5.13s because I want to have the possibility to daily drive a 2.5l comanche on 35/36s and still have the final crawl ratio to be able to do things offroad

I think its a cool idea and concept. I can't wait to see them out on the road. if only brute conversion or aev could make them

Hey guys, I was able to come home for thanksgiving break from school and was able to work on the manche some. Here is a quick video of what I was able to do. I got rough country control arm drop brackets and I installed some new motor mounts. I need to replace the distributor gasket as well because that is the last place I can see my jeep is leaking from but when I went to do it, I wasn't able to pull the distributor all the way out? Any tricks for this? -

The 241OR transfer case bolted right up correct? Did you get your speedometer to work after swapping in that tcase? Lastly, your rear driveshaft you had to get that flange welded on? Sorry about all the questions just thinking about getting one for my comanche- 34 replies

good info, will look into the retractor types for the xj's
-
that's what I am going to do. I found some universal 3 points that should fit in an xj so I'm going to order two
-
Be sure to remove that support bar that goes through the trans bell housing it certainly helps me
-
Hey guys wondering if anyone has swapped from the 3 point belt to a lap belt instead? It seems like it'll be easier to install as well. Also on a side note has anyone fixed a seat belt retractor? Mine won't lock if you yank on the seat bolt. It's supposed to lock right?

Pete linked my build thread, no rub so far with the 36s, I haven't had the chance to flex it out properly hoping to do that soon. If do decide to swap the bench to buckets, there is a nice write up in the DIY section -

Such a beautiful truck -
looking for the frame as well

Hey guys bit of a long shot but does anyone have the side vent swing-out windows? The pre-97 xj/mj doors have that front corner piece on the door that can be swung out for more ventilation. looking for both driver and passenger side or mainly just a passenger side one?
-
Seems doable just those seats are expensive
