  1. She looks great from a distance that's for sure
  2. cut out floor pans and welded in some new ones (it was my first time welding, I know its ugly lol)
  3. In the process of cutting one of my rear fender mounts for my dirtbound armor, I cut a little higher than the pinch weld and I am wondering if it can be rewarded to. I should have just gone the fold fold method. but I'm not sure how to access the top bolts for the armor with the inner wheel well in the way edit: just noticed this is from 2009. I'm sorry guys
  4. Probably the most anticipated update. I got the @DirtBound Fender flare and armor set from another member here on the forums @ScottJeep. I was a nervous wreck having to drill holes into the comanche but I say it was worth it. Still need to cut out the original factor flare mounting hole to make it look right and finish it off. This picture of above has captivated me and I cannot stop looking at it, I fell in love with this truck all over again. I need to cut out the wheel wells so I can properly mount the 36s for some proper pictures.
  5. On top of that got new turn signal and marker light lenses I used plastidip smoke to dull them a little because they looked off on the jeep when they were really shiny and reflective Got a new set of seat brackets from @krustyballer16 Still have lots to do such as installing insulation and a headliner, seat belts, a new floor pan, parking break cables and such
  6. I have teased and Now its time for updates. Came home from school, got a bunch of boxes and I started diving into the jeep got my door panels painted (going to see how well it holds up) Got my vent windows and beltline molding/trim installed. Also painted the rain guard visor, other trims around the door and the door jambs black The finished product of the door panels painted and pieced back together (Now I have 2 different shades of grey )
  7. No worries lol, good stuff takes time
  8. That comanche is beautiful. How do you like the e-lockers?
  9. That look beautiful! I love the look, definitely have to get a new steering wheel on mine.
  10. Just crossed checked with rock auto and the cables are too long, the ones I have are 54" and the ones on rock auto are listed at 51.75". Glad you brought this up and glad I checked. Returning the longer ones and going to order the ones from rock auto.
  11. Praying for a speedy recovery! We need ya back
  12. Oh okay. I'm looking for a tj one. Just have to see about getting yokes for it. the tcase has 32 spline outputs right?
  13. I ordered parking brake cables from JCWhitney and I was installing them on my truck but they seem to long. I tightened the metal piece that's under the bed and it doesn't seem to take up enough slack. Would it have something to do with the 8.25 that I swapped in?
  14. Not much of an update, but I am going back home today from school and I have a bunch of parts waiting for me. It is going to be a good holiday break
  15. Nice to see another fellow Floridian in the mix. can't wait to see the project unfold
  16. That's awesome. More driving than I have done with my driveway queen. Hoping to change that this month
  17. What year did you get yours from? A tj rubicon or a jk? you didn't change the front flange?
  18. Hey guys, I think my harmonic balancer is going bad. I am not sure if I am calling the part the right thing but I am talking about the big pulley at the bottom of the serpentine belt routing for the 2.5l. Are there any tip to go replacing this?
  19. I asked because they came out nice. Mine have like some stuff on it and I wasn't sure how I was to go about cleaning them and polishing them
  20. Anyone replace just one gauge? Or convert one? My speedo/odometer haven't worked and I'm not sure if my cable is broken or not. I was thinking of converting it to a gps speedo. Is that even possible
  21. Well I am keeping eyes on this because I am interested if its a possibility
