  1. Checked splice K. Assuming its the one that goes to the fuel pump relay, it is still the factory splice. the wires are clean and there is no corrosion. Would you suggest getting rid of the splice and using solder?
  2. I swapped the relay and D1_6 is reading 0.45 volts when engine cranking
  3. Will try that tomorrow it is getting late.
  4. D1_5 is reading 12.03 volts D1_2 is reading 11.03 volts with key in the on position
  5. You can use 2.5l stuff or you can use 4.0l pump reservoir and gear box. Only thing with the 4.0l pump is having to space out the pulley so it is in line with the others
  6. Perfect. I'm going to install mine there tomorrow
  7. Did you install it on the upper part or the lower part of the intake box
  8. ohh so it doesn't have to go directly on the manifold?
  9. Do 4.0l and 2.5l engines have the same sensor. I ordered that one but it's too big
  10. well the D1_6 shows voltage but not enough. when cranking it was at 0.58 volts... I was going to add the fuel pump ground tomorrow. but not sure what else it could be
  11. going to check this tomorrow. I haven't had the chance today
  12. Jeep is cranking but the fuel pump isnt priming. If I checked it correctly the connector by the gas tank wasn't getting power in the key on/run position. I have to check grounds, going to add fuel pump ground. open to ideas
  13. It does. I found it. Thanks!
  14. No don't think I'm going to be able to get if from my old harness. using the diagrams I am remaking the connections that were needed
  15. As far as the alternator and oil sender go. I found the wires for the voltage gauge and the oil pressure gauge behind the gauge cluster. Can I just wire them straight to the gauge cluster?
  16. I installed power steering from a 4.0l I'll see if it has that plug that's the alternator plug and oil sender plug from my old harness. I can't find them on the new harness might just rewire them completely. Have plenty of material
  17. I don't know what this plug is.... Also I cannot find a plug for the alternator or the oil pressure sender on this "new harness"
  18. much appreciated
  19. Pictures always help. I am going through the power distribution on the jeep.
  20. Anyone with a manual 2.5 could post pics of there engine bay wiring. need some help find which connectors go to which plugs
  21. maybe. I'm somewhat relieved if it's that one because I don't have the engine compartment lamp or fog lamps.
  22. I think the cut wire is supposed to go the latch relay but I'm not sure where that's at on the truck.
  23. Hey guys. I need some help. As some of you know, my mj caught on fire and I am swapping a new harness. I found a random red wire that was cut. I goes back to the starter relay, only problem is I'm not sure where it goes. The red wire meets 2 other red wires (total of 3) at a fuse-able link that goes to a green wire on the starter relay. One of the red wires has like a spade connector on it, the other seems to go to one of the bulkhead connectors for the fuse panel under the dash. I have been looking at the wiring diagram and I don't find the fuse-able link with 3 red wires
  24. Unfortunately, the jeep isn't running yet. I have replaced 90% of the sensors. Just missing one because it was the wrong size. Right now the jeep is a hot mess. I am having trouble trying to get the bulkhead connector to mount to the back of the fuse block. Also I found a random cut wire that ran all the way back to the power distribution block by the battery. Need to pick up some wires to clean up some of the mess and going to spend tonight studying a wiring diagram. Rookie lessoned learned today... Not having enough detailed pictures for reassembly Current state of the jeep..... colorful spaghetti
  25. I got all of the sensors, clutch line, and vacuum lines in today. Going to start working on it tomorrow. Hopefully it will be running tomorrow. Just waiting on the external slave to show up so it can be running as well Exciting stuff
