which is why i went with pins simple and easy. used a random hood spring from the junkyard to pop hood up and used a random gas strut to open the hood even on a hill. i opened one side up just to add a small padlock for extended parking. drill it or bfh.

trying to install injectors with 4 holes vs the old single shot ones. one has a crack of sorts but i don't think that should matter as its below the rubber seal thing. cleaned up the dirty throttle body, may need to seal the snorkel back up has gotten some dirt build. no good. just gotta lube things up and plug the holes and should be good to go hopefully. then after a ill drive it before i buy it experience on these better atominizing of gas injectors. yeah yeah just get me up that damn hill. And for reference i can still fit in the garage and i did sleep in it last night.

i have dash for the vin title street able-bodied thing. i however do not need the ac or broken heater box so can pull that as that just added weight and more room to mount another battery, or speakers or hell just extra leg room , or perhaps air intake... either way just run my own gages for oil, volts, rpm, maybe a coolent temp one... then thats another less 10 lbs in unneeded fire hazard wiring..then install dual battery set up and wiring my lights and switches and have them how i like and where i like. found a junk truck tool box so i reckon i just cut a full dash face out of it being aluminum and all. then since its this roomy i might as well add some cage work and you know..... idk just run it or restore it.

good. now just have patience centered around your rig. wait now continue to work on it and get it how you want it. then take it for a drive put together that feeling in that moment would be well worth the wait. you will rob yourself of that feeling and experience if you buy another beater rig too feed your impatience.

ive been working on mine to do more overland adventures with. biggest goal is reliability. i can fix stuff but some thing you can't f8x out on the trail so i would like to ensure if do fix something its something i have planned for and can be done trail side.

I'm listening to the flame flicking as it depletes the last of the kerosene. indeed good sir. one must have a good plan and with any good plan, one needs good info, and with collecting good info, one must ask good questions. in doing so one shall create a good project. but it is when the one who knows how it is built and knows its cabilities and has the courage and confidence to drive that good project, then... and only then, will your project be great!! And when you take that first drive your big smile will show every one how great your journey has been. thanks guys. I appreciate the kind sentimates. a loss on many levels but remembering the impact is the proper respect for a lost soul. we had some good times as she was a champ in her old age. we should have a fur buddy thread. many pets come and go in our lifetimes and help us in many different ways but most of all, they all make us smile. imagine if people did the same.

Today we say carry on to MJs older sister, Sadie. she was 16 today and had led a good city life. she has gone on to get with dad who died at 30 of cancer.. she held up strong for her mom but now she is to go join her brother and hang with their dad. MJ now will be stepping up into the senior role at 4. She shall carry on the traditional life of all is about play.
