yes big enough difference that i can stop. and stop 37s on a dime. also have chevy single piston calipers on all four corners. i may not go fast but i can stop on a hill and maintain. only issues i have had was running soft lines where hard lines maintain the pressure better. so have more hard then soft lines. but big gains for me has been the reliability with the setup. worth it if your repairing a broken system.

remember to tighten before loosing. that has helped me over the years. and shock treatment with a bfh also aides in therapy.

yes behind kick panel driverside. mj has a rear harness for lights and fuel pump and umm rear stuff. i remember splicing mine, i printed off this thread and could look at pic while i wrote my own tags and labels. label them makes it so much easier. i can go back now and look at tag and find which wire i need years later doing maintenence.

bad lifter perhaps. need more details, however if your so inclined take a long screwdriver and stick it to your ear and on different points on the engine and listen to where the noise is coming from from top end or bottom end. otherwise its just nuts and bolts and can be torn into and determined what it might be and then decide for a rebuilt or just repair. give some more details and history eh?
